Today, we’re going to learn how to draw a super cool car called the Delorean, which is a time machine from the “Back to the Future” movies. Get your drawing tools ready, and let’s have some fun!
Here’s what you’ll need to draw the Delorean:
First, draw a line on your paper. This will be the ground where your Delorean will sit. Make sure it’s long enough for the car.
Now, let’s draw the wheels. Draw two circles for the front and back wheels. It’s okay if they’re not perfect circles! Inside each wheel, draw a smaller circle for the rim. Then, draw lines inside the wheel like a pizza to make spokes.
Next, draw a line across the bottom of the car to make it look sporty. Connect this line to the wheels, and make it go up a little at the back.
Draw the shape of the Delorean. Start with a slanted line at the front, then draw a curved line for the hood. Connect the back with a slanted line and add a dot above the back wheel to help with the windshield.
Draw the windshield with a slanted line that curves back to the dot. For the side windows, draw lines that match the front and back of the car. Add the door lines with curves and don’t forget the side mirror!
Now, let’s add the time machine parts! Draw cables wrapping around the car and connecting to the back wheel. Sketch the engine window at the back and add pipes coming out of the back. Draw a rectangle with slanted lines for the fusion machine.
Draw more cables and a strip along the side of the car to make it look futuristic.
Once you’re happy with your drawing, it’s time to color your Delorean! Use any colors you like. For shiny parts, use a white pencil to add highlights to the wheels and other areas.
