Today, we’re going to learn about staying safe online while having fun with drawing! We’ll be inspired by a character called “The Internet” from a program that helps kids learn about online safety. Let’s get started!
First, gather your drawing supplies. You’ll need some paper and something to draw with, like crayons or markers. Once you have everything, we can start drawing!
1. Draw an Upside-Down Triangle: Begin by drawing an upside-down triangle at the top center of your paper. This will be the head of our character.
2. Imaginary Lines: Imagine a line splitting the triangle in half and add a point at the bottom.
3. Connect the Lines: Draw lines from the sides of the triangle down to the point at the bottom.
1. Draw Another Triangle: Make a smaller triangle below the first one, but don’t let it reach the bottom.
2. Add Eyes: Draw two circles inside the head triangle for eyes and color them in.
3. Create Hair: Draw an imaginary line upwards from the top of the head and add points to connect to the corners, making the character’s hair.
1. Draw Ears: On each side of the head, draw an upside-down “V” shape for the ears.
2. Define the Neck: Draw a diagonal line down from the bottom of the head to create the neck.
1. Create the Body Shape: Draw two diagonal lines down from the neck, stopping shorter than the head’s width.
2. Connect the Lines: Add lines to connect the bottom of these diagonal lines, forming a diamond shape for the body.
3. Add a Belly: Draw a triangle shape for the belly, connecting it to the middle of the body.
1. Draw the Legs: From the bottom of the body, draw two longer lines straight down for the legs, adding diagonal lines for the feet.
2. Create the Arms: Start from the shoulders and draw diagonal lines that bend in the middle, connecting them to points below the body.
1. Refine the Arms: Add details to the arms, making them look like crystals or gems.
2. Color Your Drawing: Once you’re happy with your drawing, it’s time to color! Take your time to match the colors you like.
After finishing your drawing, you can add a background. Maybe draw a kingdom from the game or include characters like a big bully. You could even show a scene where you’re throwing hearts at them!
We hope you had fun drawing and learned a bit about online safety too. Remember, the most important part of drawing is to enjoy yourself and keep practicing. Share your artwork with friends and family, and explore more about staying safe online. Happy drawing!
Internet Safety Role Play: Gather a few friends or family members and create a short play about staying safe online. Use your drawings as characters in the play. Think about situations where you might need to be careful online, like talking to strangers or sharing personal information. Discuss what your character would do to stay safe and act it out. This will help you understand the importance of online safety in a fun way!
Online Safety Poster: Use your drawing skills to create a colorful poster about online safety. Include tips like “Don’t share your password” or “Ask an adult before clicking on a link.” Hang your poster in a place where you and your family can see it every day. This will remind everyone about the importance of being safe online.
Internet Safety Journal: Start a journal where you write or draw about your online experiences. Each time you use the internet, note down what you did and how you stayed safe. Did you learn something new? Did you help someone else stay safe? Share your journal with a parent or teacher and discuss what you’ve learned about being safe online.
