  • What was your favorite counting activity from the lesson, and why did you like it? Can you think of another fun way to count?
  • Can you find things around your home or classroom to count up to 100? What did you find, and how did you count them?
  • Why do you think counting is important? Can you think of times when you use counting in your daily life?
  1. Counting Nature Walk: Take a walk outside and look for things you can count. How many trees do you see? Can you count the flowers? Try to find 10 different things to count. This will help you practice counting while enjoying nature!

  2. Number Art: Use crayons or markers to draw numbers from 1 to 10 on separate pieces of paper. Then, decorate each number with stickers or drawings of things that match the number. For example, draw 3 stars on the number 3. This will help you connect numbers with quantities.

  3. Counting with Snacks: Use small snacks like cereal pieces or raisins to practice counting. Count out 10 pieces, then eat one and count how many are left. Keep going until you have none left. This is a fun way to practice counting backward too!
