Welcome to Story Time!

Hello, friends! Today, we are going to enjoy a wonderful story called “I Know a Bear” by Mariana Ruiz Johnson. Are you ready? Let’s begin!

Meet the Bear

There is a special bear I know. He comes from a magical place called the Land of the Bears. This place is very far away, and the bear loves to tell me all about it.

The Land of the Bears

In the Land of the Bears, breakfast is super yummy and sweet. There are beautiful trails to walk on, and the rivers are big and fun, just like bathtubs! The little bugs called gnats stay around for a long, long time.

The bear says this land is fast and full of wonders. But, he cannot go back there. So, every time I visit him, I listen closely to his stories about this amazing place.

A Special Idea

Today, I had a special idea! I thought about all the things the bear told me and imagined what it would be like to visit the Land of the Bears.

Hi everyone! Welcome to Story Time.

Today, we have “I Know a Bear” by Mariana Ruiz Johnson. Let’s check it out!

I know a bear who comes from far away, from a place he calls the Land of the Bears. He tells me that the breakfasts there are sweet, the trails are lush, and the rivers are like bathtubs. Gnats last for months and months.

This is what he tells me: the bear says that this place is both fast and wondrous, but he cannot go back there. That’s why each time I visit him, I listen carefully as he remembers.

Today, I had an idea!
