Let’s Keep Learning!

Wasn’t that fun? You did a great job finding things that start with different letters! Keep playing “I Spy” with your friends and family to learn even more letters and words. Remember, learning is fun!

  • Can you think of something in your home or outside that starts with the letter A, S, or D? What is it, and why do you like it?
  • Imagine you are playing “I Spy” with your friends. What is your favorite letter to start with, and what would you choose for that letter?
  • Have you ever seen a zebra or a monkey in real life or in a book? What did you notice about them that was interesting or funny?
  1. Alphabet Scavenger Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around your home or classroom to find objects that start with the letters A, S, D, F, M, Z, and P. For example, you might find an apple for A or a sock for S. Once you find an object, draw a picture of it and try to write the letter it starts with. Share your drawings with your friends and see what they found!

  2. Letter Sound Walk: Take a walk outside and listen carefully to the sounds around you. Can you hear anything that starts with the letters we learned? Maybe you hear a dog barking for D or a bird singing for B. Talk about the sounds you hear and try to guess what they are. This will help you connect letters with sounds in the real world!

  3. Create Your Own “I Spy” Book: Use paper and crayons to make your own “I Spy” book. Choose a letter and draw pictures of things that start with that letter. You can even cut out pictures from magazines or print them from a computer. Once your book is ready, share it with your family and friends and play “I Spy” together!
