Juice

Another tasty drink is juice. It can be made from fruits like apples or oranges. It’s sweet and refreshing. Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp. Ahhhhhhh! That’s better!

Pop

Sometimes, you might want to try some pop. It’s fizzy and bubbly. Remember, it’s a special treat! Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp. Ahhhhhhh! That’s better!

Tea

Tea is another drink you can try. It can be warm or cold and comes in many flavors. Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp. Ahhhhhhh! That’s better!

Water

And don’t forget about water! It’s the best drink to keep you healthy and hydrated. It’s clear and has no taste, but it’s super important for your body.

  • What is your favorite drink from the ones we talked about, and why do you like it so much?
  • Can you think of a time when you felt really thirsty? What drink did you choose to have, and how did it make you feel?
  • Why do you think water is important for our bodies, and how do you make sure you drink enough water every day?
  1. Drink Detective: Go on a drink detective adventure at home! With the help of an adult, explore your kitchen and find different drinks like milk, juice, pop, tea, and water. Look at the colors, smell them, and if allowed, taste a little bit of each. Can you describe how each drink looks, smells, and tastes? Which one is your favorite and why?

  2. Make Your Own Juice: With an adult’s help, try making your own juice. Use fruits like oranges or apples. Squeeze or blend them to make fresh juice. What fruits did you use? How does your homemade juice taste compared to the juice you buy from the store? Share your juice with your family and see what they think!

  3. Water Tracker: Create a water tracker chart for a week. Each day, draw a picture of a glass of water every time you drink one. At the end of the week, count how many glasses you drank. Did you drink more water than other drinks? How did drinking water make you feel?
