Hey there! Are you ready for a fun adventure with Iz and Norb? Let’s dive into their exciting world full of surprises and giggles!
Iz and Norb love to go on adventures and do all sorts of fun things. Sometimes, Iz is lounging in a cozy nook, reading a good book. Other times, Norb is sitting on a cinder block, knitting a warm winter sock. They even ride on a porpoise named George and have spaghetti with a yeti named Freddie Gazetti!
Iz and Norb remind us that if we’re feeling a little blue, we should get up and try something new. We can choose to have fun and live the life we want!
One day, Iz and Norb find a mysterious box with a name on it. They wonder, “Who is Boo?” They ask their neighbors and hear all sorts of stories about Boo. Some say Boo is big and blue, while others say Boo is a bit scary.
But when they finally meet Boo, they discover he’s not scary at all! Boo is kind and invites them in for snacks and tea. Iz and Norb learn that not all stories are true, and it’s best to get to know someone yourself.
Iz and Norb also learn about blobs, funny little creatures that love to sneak snacks. Blobs are shy and live in the woods, but they are super fast and love to eat yummy treats like burgers and waffles!
Iz and Norb decide to be kind to the blobs and offer them some snacks. In return, the blobs give them a special gift. They realize that being nice and sharing can lead to wonderful friendships.

**Where Are You** by Jonathan Sunday
Where are you?
Lounging in my nook, reading a good book.
Where are you?
Sitting on a cinder block, knitting me a winter sock.
Where are you?
Having a yummy plum with my lumpy stump chum.
Where are you?
Riding George, the gorgeous porpoise, past enormous surging orcas.
Where are you?
Getting ready to slurp spaghetti with Freddie Gazetti, the sweaty yeti.
Where are you?
Riding on the back of a giraffe called Quackers while snacking on a pack of alpaca-shaped crackers.
Where are you?
Surfing on a blue spruce with Rusty McDeuce, but my trusty goose news feels a wee bit blue.
Oh, a wee bit blue. Where are you, Goofus?
I’m here in this box, safe from hard knocks.
Do you want to come play?
Not right now, I’m afraid. We could snack on the way.
I think I’ll just stay.
Oh, if they hear where you are, isn’t the wear that you want?
Don’t sit where you are feeling glum on your bum.
Get up and start working to change where you’re from,
Because bruises and gooses and fears and excuses
Can’t stop you from living the life that you choose.
Where are you?
Oh, sorry for skipping the end of your speech.
Had to rescue an Eskimo lost on the beach.
Then I wrote a hit song about butternut squashes.
Now I’m testing some specks on my rocket galoshes.
Thanks for the boost.

The end.
Thank you.
**Who is Boo?**
Boo is a Nord book.
Where are you?
I’m digging for unicorn horns in the yard, but I just hit a thingamajig and it’s hard.
What an amazing mysterious box! Look at the front, there’s a name on the lock.
Who is Boo?
Let’s go find out. We’ll ask if our neighbors have seen him about.
Boo’s a good bloke, just ask Mo Poke.
Who is Boo?
Boo’s a hurried, blurry fellow.
What’s the rush?
I think he’s yellow.
Is Boo?
Boo is huge and midnight blue. I heard he chomped a tree in two.
And we never once quarreled; he might be the dearest in the whole wide world.
Who is Boo?
Boo’s a filthy, foul fiend; he reeks of feet and his teeth are green.
Boo’s a musty, crusty loud; his shouts will blast your eardrums out.
He lives by the brook.
Quiet down, you scurvy dogs! You’re louder than a herd of hogs.
Who would barbecue you two and use your spleens to make a stool?
He’s red as rage with claws galore and jaws the size of dinosaurs.
Don’t become the adorable feast of the deplorable, horrible beast.
What should we do?
Let’s go say hi.
I’m scared of Boo. Let’s meet the guy.
Who are you?
Is this your old box? Oh, you don’t mean to bug you.
Holy socks! He’s going to…
Hug you!
This beat-up box means a lot to me.
Please come in for snacks and tea.
I heard so much gossip, but now we can see
You’re nothing like what we imagined you’d be.
Clouds fog up your view, and not every story and rumor is true.
I’m usually fun, but sometimes I’m sweet, and sometimes I’m mad.
I’m red and green and orange and blue, a swirl of many things like you.
I am Boo, and I’m one of a kind.
Get to know me yourself and see what you find.
We like you, Boo.
I like you too.
**[Music]**
Whoa, it was fun to meet you guys!
Before you head home, I have a surprise.
Woohoo!
I know it’s not much, but I thought you might like this sparkly magical silver-white spike.

The end.
What are blobs? by Jonathan Sunday and is a Nord book.
Where are you?
Are you some little dude? Just snagged my snack.
He’s wicked fast!
Hey, give it back!
Ah, crabs!
He grabbed my cookies too!
A blob just got the best of you.
What a blob!
Are you a fish?
I’ll clarify my gibberish.
It’s shaped like a drop and it jiggles like jelly and stuffs sneaky snacks in its teeny pot belly.
That’s surely the vermin that burgled my treats.
I’ll hunt down the scoundrel and get back my sweets.
Finding a blob will need to be clever,
But then I could squeeze it and hug it forever.
So what are blobs?
Blobs are a famously secretive bunch.
They hunker in hideouts except when it’s lunch.
They’re faster than chipmunks and timid as mice.
I’ve only caught sight of them twice in my life.
Well, where do blobs hide?
Blobs are afraid of these ogres.
They trample through the forest and frighten their kids,
Dropping their rubbish wherever they roam,
Shouting so loudly their mouths start to foam.
Where do blobs live?
They dwell in the woods around mossy old stumps,
Feeding their babies to plumping their rumps.
Where do blobs eat?
Burgers and waffles and turkey pot pies.
They eat more than animals ten times their size.
How do blobs sound?
In the back, blah blah blah is the noise that you’ll hear,
But blobs are renowned for their excellent ears.
Some say they only use one word to talk,
For hello and goodbye and please pass the block.
Blobs are delightful; I can’t stay spiteful.
Bigs are the ones who sound utterly frightful.
I sure wouldn’t want them to trample my place
While thrashing and yelling all red in the face.
Huh, those bigs are just bullies who don’t have a clue.
They make me so mad.
Hmm, hey, is where are you?
Letter and wreckage, fresh broken twigs,
And I was just shouting.
Oh, nowhere are the bags!
I do the forest and stay off the plants
And lower our voices like ants.
I’ll stop being selfish and lay out some snacks,
And maybe the blobs will forgive our bad acts.
We are sorry, we mean it, we hope you’re not sore.
Oh please, little blobs, won’t you have a bit more?
Wow!
They’re offering a gift in return for our grub.
I just thought of something you’d love from a blob.
I’m hugging a blob.
You’re hugging a few.
Love you too.
