Hello, friend! Today, we’re going to have a super fun adventure in the playroom with Kico. Are you ready? Let’s go!
Guess what? We have a special obstacle course just for you! It’s called the Over, Under, and Through Obstacle Course. There are three different challenges, and each one needs a special move to get past it. Let’s learn how to do it!
First, we have big, bouncy balls. To get past them, we need to jump over them. Can you jump high like a kangaroo? Let’s try it together!
Next, we have soft foam blocks. To get past these, we need to duck under them. Can you crouch down low like a little mouse? Let’s do it!
Now, we have colorful hoops. To get through these, we need to fly through them like a bird. Spread your wings and fly!
Kico is a bit nervous about trying the obstacle course. But don’t worry, we can help her! Sometimes, doing something new is easier with a friend. Let’s cheer for Kico as she goes over, under, and through!
Here comes the ball! Should we go over, under, or through? That’s right, over! Great job!
Now, it’s time for the blocks. Do we go over, under, or through? Yes, under! You’re doing amazing!
Here come the hoops. Should we go over, under, or through? Through! Hooray! You’re a superstar!
Oh, look! The last hoop is really high up. This one is tricky, but we believe in Kico. She can do it!
Wow! Kico did it! When we rubbed her rainbow heart, she got extra flying power to soar through the hoop. Yay, Kico!
After all that fun, Kico got a little messy. Let’s help her get cleaned up in the bathroom. And guess what? You’ll get to meet MerCat there. You’re going to love her!
Thanks for joining us on this adventure. We had so much fun with you and Kico. See you next time for more exciting playroom adventures!
Obstacle Course at Home: Create your own obstacle course at home or in the playground. Use pillows, chairs, and hula hoops to make your own “Over, Under, and Through” adventure. Can you jump over a pillow, crawl under a chair, and step through a hula hoop? Ask a family member to join you and see who can complete the course the fastest!
Animal Movement Game: Think of different animals and how they move. Can you jump like a kangaroo, crouch like a mouse, or fly like a bird? Try moving like these animals and see if you can come up with your own animal movements. Share your favorite animal move with a friend and ask them to guess which animal you are!
Story Time with Kico: Imagine you are helping Kico through a new obstacle course. Draw a picture of the course and write a short story about how you and Kico get through each part. What special powers do you and Kico use? Share your story with your class or family and see if they can come up with their own adventure stories!
Sure! Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:

Welcome to the playroom, Kico! Wait till you see what I’ve made for you. This is what I call the Over, Under, and Through Obstacle Course. How does it work? There are three different kinds of obstacles, and there’s a special way you have to move to get past each one. I’ll show you!
You have to jump over the giant balls, duck under the foam blocks, and fly through the hoops. The rest of the obstacle course is through this tunnel. Over, under, through. Got it, Kico?
Uh-huh! It’s okay, Kico. Sometimes, if you’re nervous about something new, it helps to do it with a friend. Do you want us to come on the course with you?
She wants us to ride on her back. Alley-oop! All right, let’s go! Okay, let’s help Kico navigate the obstacle course. Here comes the ball. Should we go over, under, or through?
Over! The blocks. Do we go over, under, or through?
Under! We did it! Here comes the hoop. Over, under, or through?
Through! Wahoo! Yeah, Kico! You’re doing great! Over! Under! Through!
Oh! The final hoop is really high. This is going to be a hard one, but you can do it, Kico. We believe in you!
All right! Yay, Kico! Did you see that? When I rubbed Kico’s rainbow heart, she got extra flying power to get through that super-high hoop.
Could I try it, Kico? Whee! Uh-oh. Are you okay there, Kico?
She’s okay. Just a little messy. Maybe we should go to the bathroom to get her cleaned up. Great idea. Wait till you meet MerCat, Kico. You’re gonna love her.
You’re welcome, little Kico. Glad you had a good time. To the bathroom!
