Letter Sound Safari: Go on a sound safari around your home or classroom. Listen carefully to the sounds around you and try to match them with the letters of the alphabet. For example, if you hear a “bark,” think about the letter ‘B’. Can you find a sound for every letter?
Alphabet Garden: Plant an imaginary alphabet garden! Use your hands to pretend to plant seeds for each letter of the alphabet. As you “plant” each letter, think of a word that starts with that letter and say it out loud. What kind of garden will you grow?
Letter Detective: Become a letter detective and find letters in unexpected places! Look at signs, books, or even cereal boxes. How many different letters can you find? Can you find all the letters from A to Z in one day?
