Welcome to the Colorful Adventure!

Hi there! I’m Monica!

And I’m Tom. In my home, everything is full of bright colors, but here, everything looks gray and dull.

Where Did All the Colors Go?

Oh no! A mean witch cast a spell on our town. She took away all the colors while we were asleep. Now, everything is gray!

Let’s Bring Back the Colors!

But don’t worry! We can make the colors come back. I have some paint and a brush. Let’s use them to add beautiful colors all around the town. Are you ready to help?

Coloring the Sky and Sun

First, let’s color the sky. The sky is blue, and the sun is a bright orange. Doesn’t that look nice?

Adding Colors to Nature

Now, let’s add some colors to the trees, bushes, and flowers. They will look so pretty with bright colors!

Painting the Houses

Let’s color the houses too! This house can be yellow, that one white, and the one over there pink. Wow, everything looks so cheerful now!

Our Colorful Town is Back!

Yay! We have our wonderful colorful town back! Thank you for helping us paint the town. We did an amazing job together!

Remember, don’t let the mean witch take the colors away again. Keep everything bright and happy!

It’s time for me to go now. Bye!

And thank you for being such a great helper!

  • What is your favorite color, and where do you see it in your home or outside? Why do you like it so much?
  • If you could paint your room any color, what would it be and why? How do you think it would make you feel?
  • Imagine if everything around you suddenly turned gray. How would you bring back the colors? What would you paint first?
  1. Color Hunt: Go on a color hunt around your home or classroom. Look for objects that match the colors we used to paint the town: blue, orange, yellow, white, and pink. Can you find something for each color? Share what you found with your friends or family!

  2. Color Mixing Experiment: Let’s try mixing colors like a real artist! Use watercolors or food coloring. What happens when you mix blue and yellow? How about red and white? Try creating new colors and paint a picture with them. What new colors did you discover?

  3. Nature’s Colors Walk: Take a walk outside and observe the colors in nature. Can you find something that is the same color as the sky or the sun? What about the trees and flowers? Draw a picture of your favorite colorful scene from your walk.

Sure! Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:

Hi, I’m Monica!

Hi, I’m Tom. In my country, everything is brightly colored, but things aren’t looking so colorful here.

Why has all the color disappeared from your town?

A wicked witch cast a spell on our country. She stole all the color at night while we were sleeping. Everything has been gray since then.

There’s only one way we can make the colors come back! I’ve got some paint and a brush with me. We’re going to use them to add color all around the town. I’m so excited! What do we start with?

Let’s color in the sky! The sky is blue, and the sun will be orange. We’ll add a splash of bright color to the trees, bushes, and flowers. We’ll color in those houses too! Let’s make this house yellow, and that one white, and that one over there pink.

We’ve got our wonderful colorful town back! Thanks for helping us color in our town. We did a great job together! Don’t let the wicked witch steal all the color again.

I’ve got to go back now.
