  • What is your favorite color, and why do you like it so much? Can you find something of that color around you right now?
  • Can you think of a time when you saw a lot of colors together, like at a party or in a garden? How did it make you feel?
  • If you could paint your room any color, what would it be? Why do you think that color would make your room special?
  1. Color Hunt Adventure: Go on a color hunt around your home or classroom. Find three objects for each color: orange, purple, and pink. Once you find them, arrange them in a line and take a picture. Share your picture with your friends and talk about why you chose each object. Can you find something new that you didn’t notice before?

  2. Color Mixing Magic: Let’s make new colors! Use watercolors or finger paints to mix colors. Try mixing red and yellow to see what happens. What color do you get? Now, mix red and blue. What new color appears? Finally, mix red and white. What do you see? Talk about the new colors you created and what they remind you of.

  3. Story Time with Colors: Create a short story using your favorite color. For example, “Once upon a time, in a land full of orange pumpkins and purple grapes, there lived a pink unicorn…” Draw a picture to go with your story. Share your story and drawing with your family or friends. What other colors can you add to your story?

Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:

“This is orange, the color orange. Do you know what color this is? This is orange.

This is purple, the color purple. Do you know what color this is? This is purple.

This is pink, the color pink. Do you know what color this is? This is pink.”
