Wild cats like to climb trees and sleep in the grass. They are very adventurous! Pet cats, on the other hand, love to climb too, but they usually sleep on a comfy couch at home.

Cat Collage Craft: Gather some old magazines, newspapers, or printed pictures. Look for images of cats or things that start with the letter C, like cars, cakes, or crayons. Cut them out and create a collage on a piece of paper. As you work, say the word for each picture out loud and emphasize the “C” sound. This will help you remember the sound and shape of the letter C!
Letter C Scavenger Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around your home or classroom to find objects that start with the letter C. You might find a cup, a clock, or a coat. Make a list of all the items you find and share it with your friends or family. Can you find at least five things that start with C?
Cat Movement Game: Pretend to be a cat! Practice moving like a wild cat and a pet cat. Wild cats might sneak around quietly, climb imaginary trees, or pounce on pretend prey. Pet cats might curl up on a soft pillow or stretch out in the sun. Talk about the differences between wild and pet cats as you play. How do they move differently? What do they like to do?
