The lesson emphasized the joy of learning letters and encouraged students to continue discovering them in their surroundings.
  1. What is a word that starts with the letter Q?
  2. Can you think of something that goes “choo-choo”?
  3. What animal can you pretend to be that loves to swim?

Let’s Learn About Letters!

Hey there, little learner! Today, we’re going to have fun with some letters. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Letter Q

The letter Q is a special letter. Can you think of a word that starts with Q? How about Queen? A queen wears a shiny crown and lives in a big castle. Isn’t that exciting?

Letter R

Next up is the letter R. R is for Rocket! Rockets zoom up into the sky and go to space. Imagine flying in a rocket and seeing all the stars. Wow!

Letter S

Now, let’s talk about the letter S. S is for Seal. Seals are cute animals that live in the ocean. They love to swim and play. Can you pretend to be a seal and clap your hands like flippers?

Letter T

Finally, we have the letter T. T is for Train. Trains go “choo-choo” and travel on tracks. Have you ever seen a train? They can be really long and carry lots of things!

Let’s Practice!

Now that we’ve learned about these letters, let’s practice saying them together: Q, R, S, T. Great job! You are doing amazing!

Remember, learning letters is fun, and you can find them everywhere. Keep looking for letters around you, and you’ll become a letter expert in no time!

  • Can you think of any other words that start with the letters Q, R, S, or T? Maybe you can find something in your room or outside that begins with one of these letters!
  • Have you ever seen a rocket, a seal, or a train in real life or in a book? What was it like, and what did you find most interesting about it?
  • If you could visit a queen’s castle, fly in a rocket, swim like a seal, or ride on a train, which one would you choose and why?
  1. Letter Hunt: Go on a letter hunt around your home or classroom. Look for objects that start with the letters Q, R, S, and T. For example, you might find a quilt for Q, a rock for R, a sock for S, and a toy for T. Can you find at least one object for each letter? Share what you found with your friends or family!

  2. Letter Art: Create a piece of art for each letter. Draw or craft something that starts with Q, R, S, and T. For example, you could draw a queen with a crown, a rocket zooming into space, a seal swimming in the ocean, and a train on tracks. Use crayons, markers, or any art supplies you like. Display your artwork to show others what you learned!

  3. Story Time: Make up a short story using the words queen, rocket, seal, and train. What kind of adventure could these characters have together? Maybe the queen rides a rocket to visit a seal, and they both take a train ride back to the castle. Share your story with a friend or family member and see if they can add to it!
