  • What is your favorite thing in nature from the list we talked about, and why do you like it so much?
  • Can you think of a time when you saw something amazing in nature, like a rainbow or a big tree? How did it make you feel?
  • If you could explore any place in nature, like a mountain or a forest, where would you go and what would you hope to see?
  1. Nature Scavenger Hunt: Go on a nature walk with your family or friends. Try to find as many things from the list below as you can. When you find one, draw a picture of it in your notebook:

    • A tree with green leaves
    • A flower with a nice smell
    • A cloud in the sky
    • The sun shining bright

Talk about what you see and how each thing makes you feel.

  2. Make Your Own Rainbow: On a sunny day, use a garden hose to spray water into the air and try to create a rainbow. Can you see all the colors? Count them and try to name each one. Talk about how rainbows are made when sunlight passes through raindrops.

  3. Starry Night Observation: With the help of an adult, go outside at night and look at the stars. Can you find any shapes or patterns in the stars? Draw what you see and imagine what it would be like to visit a star. Share your drawing and story with your class.
