  • Can you think of a time when you wore a jacket? What color was it, and how did it make you feel when you wore it?
  • If you could visit a jungle, what animals would you like to see, and what sounds do you think you would hear?
  • What other words can you think of that start with the letter “J”? Can you use one of those words in a sentence?
  1. Jacket Design Challenge: Gather some colorful paper, crayons, and stickers. Ask the children to design their own jacket. Encourage them to think about what colors and patterns they would like on their jacket. Once they have finished, have a mini fashion show where each child can describe their jacket and why they chose those designs. This activity helps them connect the concept of jackets with creativity and personal expression.

  2. Jungle Sound Adventure: Create a soundscape of the jungle using simple instruments or household items. For example, use a drum or a pot to mimic the sound of a jaguar’s roar, rustle paper for the sound of leaves, and tap sticks together for the sound of animals moving. Ask the children to close their eyes and imagine they are in a jungle. Afterward, discuss what animals they “saw” and what sounds they heard. This activity enhances their auditory skills and imagination.

  3. Jaguar Movement Game: Play a game where children pretend to be jaguars. Create an obstacle course using pillows, chairs, and blankets to represent the jungle. Encourage them to move like jaguars, crawling and jumping through the course. After completing the course, ask them how it felt to move like a jaguar and what they learned about these animals. This activity promotes physical activity and helps them understand the agility of jaguars.
