Vegetable Hunt: Go on a vegetable hunt at home or in a garden. Can you find any of the vegetables we learned about today? Look for spinach, carrots, or even a pumpkin! Take a picture or draw a picture of the vegetables you find. Share your discoveries with your friends or family and talk about how each vegetable looks and feels.
Vegetable Taste Test: With the help of an adult, try tasting some of the vegetables we talked about. Can you try spinach, carrots, or broccoli? Close your eyes and see if you can guess which vegetable you’re tasting. Talk about which ones you like the most and why. Do they taste sweet, crunchy, or maybe a little spicy?
Draw Your Favorite Vegetable: Pick your favorite vegetable from the ones we learned about and draw it. Use lots of colors to make it look just like the real thing. Once you’re done, share your drawing with your friends or family and tell them why it’s your favorite. Is it because of its color, shape, or taste?
