Scavenger Hunt for “S” Words: Go on a scavenger hunt around your home or classroom to find objects that start with the letter “S”. Can you find something soft, something shiny, or something that makes a sound? Share what you find with your friends or family!
Big and Little Sorting Game: Gather a collection of objects or pictures of things that are big and little. Sort them into two groups: big and little. You can use toys, fruits, or any items you have. Talk about why each item is big or little and see if you can find more examples in your surroundings.
Create Your Own “S” Story: Use the words you learned today to create a short story. Draw pictures to go along with your story. For example, “The big sailboat sails on the sea. The little strawberry is sweet.” Share your story with a friend or family member and see if they can add more “S” words to it!
