Welcome to Our Fun Sorting Game!

Hello, friends! I’m Jenny, and I’m so happy you’re here. I just had a big birthday party, and now it’s time to clean up. Can you help me sort some colorful mugs? Let’s have fun together and put them on the right shelves!

Let’s Start Sorting!

Look at this mug. What shape do you see on it? It’s a circle! Where should we put this mug? Yes, on the top shelf, because there’s already a mug with one circle there.

More Circles to Sort

Now, here’s a mug with three circles. Which shelf should it go on? Perfect! It belongs on the shelf for mugs with three circles.

This mug has two circles. Let’s find the right shelf. Yes, it goes on the shelf with the other mug that has two circles. Great job!

Counting Circles

Look at this mug! How many circles does it have? Let’s count together: one, two, three, four, five. Which shelf should it go on? That’s right, the shelf for mugs with five circles!

And where do we put a mug with four circles? You guessed it! On the shelf for mugs with four circles. You’re doing amazing!

All Done!

We did it! Thanks for helping me sort all the mugs. You are a fantastic helper! See you next time. Bye-bye!

  • What shapes do you see around your home or classroom that remind you of the circles on the mugs? Can you think of other objects that have different shapes?
  • How do you decide where to put things when you clean up your room or toys? Do you have a special way of sorting them like we did with the mugs?
  • Why do you think sorting things by their shapes or numbers is helpful? Can you think of a time when sorting made something easier for you?
  1. Circle Hunt at Home: Let’s go on a circle hunt! Look around your home and find objects that have circles on them. It could be a clock, a plate, or even a button. Count how many circles you find and draw a picture of your favorite circle object. Share your drawing with your family and tell them how many circles you found!

  2. Sorting Game with Toys: Gather some of your toys or objects that have different shapes. Try to sort them by the number of circles they have, just like we did with the mugs. You can use boxes or different areas of a table to create your own shelves. How many toys have one circle? How many have two? Have fun sorting!

  3. Circle Art Project: Create your own circle art! Use colored paper, scissors, and glue to cut out different-sized circles. Arrange them on a piece of paper to make a fun design or picture. Count how many circles you used and share your artwork with your friends or family. Ask them to find the biggest and smallest circles in your art!

Welcome to Kids Academy! Hi there, it’s me, Jenny. I’ve just finished cleaning up after my birthday party. Will you help me sort the mugs one by one and put them on the right shelves? Oh, how exciting! If we do the sorting together, we’ll be done in no time.

Let’s start! What shape is decorating this mug? A circle! Which shelf do you think we should put the mug on? That’s right, the upper shelf, because there’s already a mug with one circle on it.

Now, this mug has three circles, so it goes on which shelf? Great! This one, because this is the shelf for mugs with three circles.

This mug has two circles, so I think we ought to put it on this shelf, because the mug on this shelf has two circles too. Great sorting, everyone!

Now, this mug has how many circles? One, two, three, four, five. So it goes on which shelf? Right, this one! And which is the shelf for mugs with four circles, do you think? You got it! We’ll put the mug on this shelf.

The job is done! Thanks for helping me sort out the mugs. Bye-bye!
