Hi there! I’m Cory Carson, and I’m so excited to share a fun story with you. Are you ready to go on an adventure with me and my friends? Let’s get started!
One day, my friends and I heard about a super fun contest called the “Go! Go! Dance Party!” We were so excited to join and show off our dance moves. We needed a team name, so we decided on “Team Cars on Fire.” Doesn’t that sound cool?
At the contest, we met the Clutch Brothers. They are really good at dancing and have won every contest! We were a little nervous, but also excited to try our best.
To get ready, my friend Freddie and I practiced a lot. We even swam in a ball pit to get stronger and faster. It was so much fun! We learned to move left, right, and all around to get our dance moves just right.
But sometimes, I got too serious about winning. Freddie reminded me that having fun is the most important part. We laughed and danced together, making up silly moves like the “Frolickin’ Freddie.” It was hilarious!
When it was time for the contest, I tried to dance alone, but it wasn’t as fun without Freddie. Then, Freddie joined me, and we danced together, having the best time ever! We didn’t win the contest, but we felt like winners because we had so much fun.
After the contest, we decided to play another game called “Whack-a-Cone.” It was a blast, and we couldn’t stop laughing!
This adventure taught us that having fun with friends is more important than winning. It’s great to try your best, but it’s even better to enjoy the time you spend with the people you care about.
Thanks for joining me on this adventure! I hope you had as much fun as we did. See you next time!
Dance Move Creation: Gather your friends or family and create your own dance moves just like Cory and Freddie did. Think of fun names for your moves, such as “The Wiggly Worm” or “The Happy Hop.” Practice your moves together and put on a mini dance show for each other. Remember, the goal is to have fun and be creative!
Friendship Fun Drawing: Draw a picture of you and your friends doing something fun together. It could be dancing, playing a game, or any activity you enjoy. Share your drawing with your friends and talk about why spending time together is special. What makes your friends important to you?
Observation Walk: Go on a short walk with a family member or friend and observe how people around you are having fun. Do you see anyone playing games, laughing, or dancing? Talk about what you see and how it makes you feel. How can you bring more fun into your day with your friends?
