Hello, friends! How are you today? Is the sun shining bright where you are? Did you have a fun time playing? We are so happy you are here to enjoy a story with us!
Today, we have a super cute book called “Most Marshmallows” by Robo Watkins. Are you ready to find out what it’s all about?
Do you like marshmallows? I bet you do! Did you know that marshmallows don’t grow on trees or come from faraway places like Mars? Let’s learn more about them!
Most marshmallows have one or two sweet parents. Look at the baby marshmallows—aren’t they adorable? They live in cozy homes, just like us!
Marshmallows celebrate birthdays and watch TV. They even go to school to learn how to be squishy and stand in rows, just like we do!
Did you know marshmallows can’t breathe fire? That’s something only dragons can do! Isn’t that cool?
Most marshmallows eat dinner together and dream sweet dreams at night. But some marshmallows know they can do anything if they try hard, just like you!
Some marshmallows imagine fighting dragons. Wow, that’s brave! Remember, you can be anything you want to be if you believe in yourself!
We hope you loved “Most Marshmallows” as much as we did. Thanks for being here with us today! Don’t forget to come back for more fun stories. See you soon!
Marshmallow Family Portrait: Gather some marshmallows and toothpicks. Encourage the children to create their own marshmallow families using these materials. Ask them to think about what their marshmallow family might do during the day. Do they go to school? Do they have a favorite game? Let the children share their marshmallow family stories with the class.
Marshmallow Adventure Drawing: Provide paper and crayons or markers. Ask the children to draw an adventure that their marshmallow might go on. Would they fight dragons or go on a picnic? Encourage them to use their imagination and think about what their marshmallow would need on their adventure. After drawing, let them explain their adventure to a friend or the class.
Dream Big Discussion: Have a circle time where each child shares one big dream they have, just like the marshmallows dreaming of fighting dragons. Ask questions like, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” or “What is something new you would like to try?” Encourage them to think about how they can achieve their dreams and what steps they might take.
Sure! Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:

“Most Marshmallows”
Do you love marshmallows? I bet you do! Most marshmallows don’t grow on trees or come from storks or even Mars. Now, where do marshmallows come from? Do you know? Most importantly, what are they made of?
Most marshmallows are mostly born to one sweet parent or two. Oh, look at the baby marshmallows! So cute! They live in homes of one kind or another. That sounds a lot like us! They celebrate birthdays and watch TV. They go to school most mornings and learn to be squishy and how to stand in rows, just like we do in school, looking all cute.
And why can’t they breathe fire? Fire is only for dragons. Did you know that? Yeah, it’s true—only for dragons!
Most marshmallows eat dinner together. Oh, look at all those veggies! And they fall asleep most nights to dream about nothing. But some marshmallows somehow secretly know that all marshmallows can do anything, just like you and I. You know what they say: if you put your mind to it, you can do anything. It’s true! Or be anything!
They dare to imagine—wow, fighting dragons! So roar and be fierce! Get out there and go for what you want!
And that was “Most Marshmallows.” See, I told you it’s a cute book! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Thanks for joining us today! Don’t forget to give us a like and subscribe, and also click on the bell for more stories like this.
