Imagine if you had a jelly bean tree! You would take care of it when it’s just a tiny baby tree. You could sprinkle sugar and pour lots of jam on it to help it grow big and strong, just like you are growing every day!
When the jelly beans are ready, you can give the tree a big hug and shake it. Wow, look at all the jelly beans falling down! It’s like a jelly bean rain! These jelly beans are so juicy and yummy, much better than the ones from the store.
If you had a jelly bean tree, you could build a house way up high in the sky. You could relax on your porch and watch the clouds go by. Your tree would have a super fun slide that goes round and round. Whee! You could slide down whenever you want!
You would have to watch out for little animals like weasels and mice who might want to nibble on your jelly beans. Even some funny birds might come to visit!
With a long piece of string, you could make a jelly bean necklace with yellow, green, and blue jelly beans. You could dance in the rain and use jelly beans as shampoo. No more bath time needed!
At night, the jelly beans would glow like little lanterns. They would be so pretty, just for you to see!
If you had a jelly bean tree, you could invite your family to come and visit. You could send them a special letter by airmail. Together, you would have so much fun in your amazing jelly bean tree! You could make jelly bean pie, jelly bean cream, and even jelly bean tea!
Some people say jelly beans don’t grow on trees. But who knows? Maybe your jelly bean tree will start to grow one day!

“My Magnificent Jelly Bean Tree”
[Applause]
If I had a jelly bean tree, I would care for it while it was small. Oh, it’s just a baby jelly bean! Sprinkle on sugar and jugfuls of jam, then watch it grow sturdy and tall, just like you when you were a little baby, a little peanut.
In the shade of my jelly bean tree, I will wait till the beans look just right. Then I’ll wrap my arms tightly around the tree’s trunk and shake it with all my might. Wow, look at all the jelly beans! It’s raining jelly beans! They’ll be gurgling, slurping, and dribbling goo as I feast on the best of the crop because fresh jelly beans are so juicy and plump, not all dry like the ones from the shop.
If I had a jelly bean tree, I would build my house up in the sky, stretch out on my porch in the afternoon sun as a river of clouds drifts on by. My magnificent jelly bean tree would have a slight looping all the way around. Whoa, that is a cool slide! I’ll go dizzily whizzing past all of the pins. Should I ever decide to come down, that looks like a fun tree!
I will fend off intruders by day and by night, pesky creatures both feathered and furred, because jelly bean trees attract weasels and mice and a rather strange species of bird.
If I had a jelly bean tree, I would measure a long piece of string, thread on yellow and green with some blue in between, and I’ll crawl myself jelly bean cane. All alone in my jelly bean tree, I will dance in the rain, and with all of this jelly to use as shampoo, I will never need bath time again.
Oh, look at him, he’s all wet in the rain! As the last of the sun trickles down from the sky, with breathtaking wonder I’ll see because jelly beans slide up like lanterns at night. Yet there’s no one to see them but me.
Oh, look at all the pretty jelly beans! They glow in the dark. Aren’t they special?
So if I had a jelly bean tree, I would write to my family’s address: “Will you please come and visit whenever you choose?” Then I’ll send it by airmail express, and all the fun we shall have in our marvelous jelly bean tree! We’ll make jelly bean pie served with jelly bean cream and a large pot of jelly bean tea.
Some people say jelly beans don’t grow on trees. I wonder, well, how do they know? Perhaps all the jelly beans failed to sprout, but my one has started to grow. Oh, the jelly bean tree is finally growing for real!
The end.
