Peppa and her little brother George are excited because they are going on an Easter egg hunt! Peppa says, “I want to find lots of eggs, one in every color!” George finds the first egg, and it’s red. Peppa finds the next one and says, “Look, George, it’s orange!”
Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig are also looking for eggs. Mummy Pig finds a yellow egg, which is her favorite color. Daddy Pig searches everywhere and finally finds a green egg. “This is fun,” says Peppa. She and George want to find more eggs, but the grass is too tall.
“Don’t worry,” Peppa says. “Daddy will mow it.” Daddy Pig tries to use the lawnmower, but it doesn’t work. “Maybe I can fix it,” he says. “I think we need help.”
Here comes Grandpa Pig with his big lawnmower! He cuts the grass quickly, and now Peppa and George can find more eggs. George finds a blue egg, and Peppa finds indigo and violet eggs.
Peppa, George, Mummy Pig, and Daddy Pig have found lots of colorful Easter eggs. Suddenly, it starts to rain. Drip, drip! But then the sun comes out again. “Do you know what happens when it’s sunny and rainy at the same time?” asks Mummy Pig.
“I know!” says Peppa. “You get a rainbow!”
Everyone looks up and sees a beautiful rainbow in the sky. “Oh,” says George. “And do you know what’s at the end of a rainbow?” asks Daddy Pig.
“Treasure! Let’s find it!” shouts Peppa. They all hop into the cart and follow the rainbow, going up and down hills. Daddy Pig points and says, “I think the treasure is right over here!” Everyone goes to the treasure, and it’s a great big muddy puddle for jumping!
