Hello, friends! I’m Miracle, and today we’re going to have a super fun Story Time together. Are you ready? Yay!
Today, we’re going to read a story called “Pet on a Jet.” Get your ears ready to listen, your eyes ready to look, and your brain ready to wonder. Let’s meet our friends in the story!
This is Brett, and he has a dog named Chad. Brett and Chad are best friends. They love spending time together. Brett wants to take Chad on a trip in a big jet plane. Have you ever seen a jet plane? They are big and fly high in the sky!
There’s a nice man who flies the jet. Brett asks him, “Can Chad come with me on the jet, please?” The man smiles and says, “Yes, I like your pet!” So, Brett and Chad hop on the jet, ready for their adventure.
On the jet, it’s time for a snack. Brett and Chad get a bag of yummy potato chips. Brett shares a chip with Chad, and Chad is so happy that he wags his tail. His nose is wet because he’s excited!
After their snack, Brett and Chad feel sleepy. They both take a nap on the jet. When they wake up, it’s time to leave the jet. Brett waves goodbye to the nice man who flies the jet.
Brett is so happy he got to fly on the big blue jet with Chad. They had so much fun and will always remember their special trip together. The end!
It’s so much fun to share stories with friends. Miracle and Nano love sharing books and stories together. You can listen to “Pet on a Jet” as many times as you like. Maybe it will become one of your favorites!
Thanks for joining me for Story Time. I’ll see you soon for another fun story. Bye-bye!
Jet Plane Adventure: Create a simple paper airplane with the children. Encourage them to decorate it with colors and stickers to represent their own “jet.” Once the planes are ready, have a small contest to see whose plane can fly the farthest. Discuss how real jets fly high in the sky and what makes them different from paper planes.
Pet Travel Journal: Ask the children to draw a picture of a pet they would like to take on a trip. Have them imagine where they would go and what adventures they might have. Encourage them to share their stories with the class, just like Brett and Chad’s adventure. This activity helps them think about travel and friendship.
Snack Time Sharing: During snack time, encourage the children to share a part of their snack with a friend, just like Brett shared with Chad. Discuss how sharing makes others happy and how it can be a fun way to show kindness. Ask them how they feel when they share and when someone shares with them.
Sure! Here’s a sanitized version of the transcript:
