Animal Names Practice

Let’s practice saying some animal names with Fun Kids English:

Listen and repeat: pig, fox, cat, duck, rabbit, frog, dog, gorilla, snake, horse.

Nice job, everyone! You did it! Thanks for learning with us!

  • What is your favorite animal from the ones we pretended to be, and why do you like it? Can you think of any other animals you like to pretend to be?
  • Which vegetable do you like the most, and how do you like to eat it? Do you have any fun stories about trying new vegetables?
  • Can you find something in your room or house that is the same color as your favorite vegetable? What other things can you find that are the same color?
  1. Animal Movement Game: Let’s play a game where you can pretend to be different animals! Choose your favorite animal from the list: dog, cat, frog, or bird. Now, think about how that animal moves. Can you move like a dog running, a cat walking, a frog jumping, or a bird flying? Try to make the sounds they make too! After you practice, show your movements to a friend or family member and see if they can guess which animal you are pretending to be.

  2. Veggie Taste Test: Ask a grown-up to help you gather some vegetables like carrots, potatoes, beans, and peas. Try tasting each one and talk about how they taste. Are they sweet, crunchy, or soft? Which one is your favorite? Draw a picture of your favorite vegetable and share why you like it with your class or family.

  3. Color Hunt Adventure: Let’s go on a color hunt! Look around your home or classroom and find objects that match the colors of the vegetables we talked about. Can you find something orange like a carrot, brown like a potato, green like beans, or green like peas? Share what you find with a friend and see if they can find something different in the same color.
