Stay Safe and Have Fun!

Hey there, little friend! Let’s learn how to stay safe and have fun together. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Safety First!

When you’re in the car, make sure to sit up straight and buckle your seatbelt. It’s like a big hug that keeps you safe! Look, here’s a little Dino toy to keep you company. Remember, your seatbelt is your friend, just like Dino!

Playing Safely

Do you like playing games? Let’s play a game where we keep our toys safe too! Teddy fell down because he wasn’t in his safety seat. But now he’s wearing a seatbelt, and he’s safe. Yay, Teddy!

Brushing Your Teeth

After you eat yummy food, it’s time to brush your teeth. Meet Toothpaste Man! He helps chase away the bad germs when you brush. Swish, swish, and the germs go bye-bye! Remember, brushing keeps your teeth happy and healthy.

Be Careful in the Kitchen

When you’re in the kitchen, be careful! Some things are hot, like soup. Wait patiently, and let a grown-up help you. Enjoy your tasty corn soup, but be careful—it’s hot!

Water Fun

Let’s play with water! The blue side of the tap is cold, and the red side is hot. Be careful with hot water—it can be dangerous. If you touch something hot, use cold water to cool it down. Stay safe and have fun splashing!

Colorful Adventures

Do you like colors? Imagine a color magician who changes everything to black, gray, and brown. But we love all the colors, don’t we? Let’s keep our world colorful and bright!

Goodbye, Germs!

Let’s say goodbye to the bad germs. Wash your hands and keep everything clean. Bubble Rangers are here to help! Together, we can make everything shiny and clean. Bye-bye, germs!

Fun and Play

There’s a playground and a swimming pool waiting for us. Let’s have fun and play safely. Remember, staying safe means more fun for everyone!

Thanks for learning with me today. You’re awesome! Keep being safe and having fun!

Discussion Questions

  1. What are some of your favorite games to play, and how do you make sure you stay safe while playing them?
  2. Can you think of a time when you helped keep something or someone safe, like Teddy with his seatbelt? How did it make you feel?
  3. What are some colorful things you see around you every day? How do they make your world more fun and exciting?

Lesson Activities

  • Seatbelt Safety Adventure: Create a mini car ride adventure at home! Use chairs to set up a pretend car. Have your child practice buckling up their favorite stuffed animals or toys with ribbons or scarves as seatbelts. Ask them why it’s important for everyone, including toys, to wear a seatbelt. Encourage them to explain how the seatbelt is like a big hug that keeps everyone safe.

  • Toothpaste Art: Let’s make brushing teeth fun! Provide your child with a toothbrush and some non-toxic paint. Let them dip the toothbrush in the paint and create art on paper, mimicking the brushing motion. While they paint, ask them to describe how Toothpaste Man helps keep their teeth clean and why brushing is important after meals.

  • Color Detective Walk: Go on a color detective walk around your home or garden. Ask your child to find objects of different colors and describe them. Discuss how colors make our world beautiful and why it’s important to keep our surroundings colorful and bright. Encourage them to think about how they can help keep their environment clean and colorful.
