Rudolph’s Adventure

Wow! It’s almost nighttime, and we can’t wait for Santa to bring gifts! But oh no, Rudolph, Santa’s special reindeer, isn’t feeling well. He needs help to deliver the gifts!

Calling the Super Rescue Team!

Santa is worried because Rudolph can’t see clearly. The Super Rescue Team is here to help! They rush to find out what’s wrong with Rudolph.

Rudolph’s Problem

Rudolph feels dizzy and sees two bridges instead of one. The team discovers that Rudolph ate some mushrooms that made him sick. But don’t worry, the team knows just what to do!

Super Recovery!

The Super Rescue Team quickly helps Rudolph feel better. Now he’s ready to meet Santa and deliver the gifts. But the bridge looks a bit scary. The team decides to help Rudolph cross it safely.

Crossing the Bridge

With the team’s help, Rudolph crosses the bridge. But wait, there’s a rock! The team calls Hank to help move it. Thanks to Hank, they continue their journey safely.

Finding the Way

It’s snowy, and it’s hard to see the road. But one of the team members can see in the snow! They guide Rudolph safely to Santa.

Meeting Santa

Rudolph finally meets Santa, and Santa is so happy to see him safe and sound. The Super Rescue Team did a great job!

Chief Shark’s Trouble

Meanwhile, in the ocean, Chief Shark is having trouble breathing while chasing a thief. The Super Rescue Team is on the way to help!

Helping Chief Shark

Chief Shark needs to keep swimming to breathe. The team finds out that a piece of coral is stuck in his gills. They quickly help him feel better.

Chasing the Thief

Now that Chief Shark feels better, he’s ready to catch the thief. With the team’s help, they find the thief and stop him!

Dr. Mimi’s Bravery

Back on land, Mimi is learning about being brave. She needs to get a vaccine shot to stay healthy. Mimi is a little scared, but she wants to be a doctor one day!

Being Brave

Mimi learns that getting a shot isn’t so scary. She is very brave and gets her shot like a true doctor!

Helping Others

Mimi helps her friend who has a hurt trunk. She bandages it and makes her friend feel better. Mimi is a great helper!

And that’s how the Super Rescue Team and Dr. Mimi help everyone stay safe and healthy!

Discussion Questions

  1. Rudolph had some trouble because he ate mushrooms that made him feel dizzy. Have you ever eaten something that made you feel funny or sick? What did you do to feel better?
  2. The Super Rescue Team helped Rudolph cross a scary bridge. Can you think of a time when you were scared to do something? Who helped you feel brave, and how did they help?
  3. Mimi was brave when she got her vaccine shot. What does being brave mean to you? Can you share a time when you were brave, even if you felt a little scared?

Lesson Activities

  1. Reindeer Rescue Relay: Create a simple obstacle course in your classroom or playground to simulate Rudolph’s adventure. Use cones or chairs to represent the bridge and rocks. Have the children take turns being Rudolph, wearing a red nose or headband, and guide them through the course with the help of their classmates, who act as the Super Rescue Team. Encourage them to think about how they can help each other overcome obstacles, just like the team helped Rudolph.

  2. Snowy Path Drawing: Provide the children with paper and crayons or markers. Ask them to draw a snowy path that Rudolph and the Super Rescue Team might have taken to reach Santa. Encourage them to include obstacles like rocks or bridges and think about how the team could help Rudolph navigate these challenges. Discuss their drawings and ask them to explain how they would help Rudolph if they were part of the team.

  3. Bravery Role Play: Set up a role-playing activity where children can practice being brave like Dr. Mimi. Use toy doctor kits and have them pretend to give each other “vaccine shots” using toy syringes. Discuss how being brave can help us and others, and encourage them to share a time when they were brave. Ask questions like, “How did you feel after being brave?” and “How can we help others be brave?”
