Let’s Have Fun with Colors and Treats!

Hello, friends! Today, we’re going on a fun adventure with Kiki and Meow Meow. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Marching Hamburgers

Once upon a time, there were four little hamburgers marching down the street. They were having so much fun! But suddenly, one hamburger stopped and said, “What is that? Watch out, everyone!” The other hamburgers were surprised and said, “Oh my goodness! Help me!”

They remembered to use the crosswalk to stay safe. Good job, little hamburgers!

Colorful Candies Go Swimming

Five colorful candies decided to go swimming. When each candy jumped into the water, something magical happened! The water turned the same color as the candy. The red candy made the water red, the yellow candy made it yellow, and so on. It was like a rainbow in the water!

The candies were surprised and asked, “Where are our colored clothes?” It was a fun and colorful day!

Yummy Cupcakes on a Slide

Next, we have some yummy cupcakes going down a slide. Each cupcake had a different flavor. There was a pudding cupcake, a strawberry cupcake, a rainbow cupcake, a blueberry cupcake, and a chocolate cupcake. They all smelled so good!

Everyone wanted to try the cupcakes. It was a sweet and tasty adventure!

Dancing Donuts

Ten donuts were dancing together. They turned around and around, having a great time. But one by one, they fell into a chocolate pot. Oh no! Now they were covered in chocolate!

Even though they were covered in chocolate, the donuts kept dancing. It was a chocolatey dance party!

Jumping Hamburgers

Five little hamburgers were jumping on a tray. But one by one, they fell on the table. The cook got a little angry and said, “No more hamburgers jumping on the tray!”

Even though they fell, the hamburgers had fun jumping. Let’s keep jumping!

Birthday Cake for Rudolph

It’s Rudolph’s birthday! Kiki and Meow Meow decided to make a delicious cake. They mixed eggs, sugar, milk, and flour. Then they baked the cake and added whipped cream and strawberries. Yum!

When the cake was ready, everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to Rudolph. The cake looked so delicious!

Ice Cream Adventure

It was a hot day, and the ice cream melted away. But don’t worry! Kiki and Meow Meow borrowed Mr. Doll’s ice cream cart. They had colorful ice cream with strawberry and milk flavors. Everyone got to taste the yummy ice cream!

There was even a new rainbow flavor. It was a cool and tasty treat!

Making Donuts for Rudolph

Rudolph wanted donuts, but the shop was closed. Kiki and Meow Meow decided to help. They cracked eggs, mixed the dough, and made round donuts. They sprinkled sugar and made them sweet and delicious!

Rudolph was so happy to have donuts. It was a sweet surprise!

Thanks for joining us on this fun adventure with Kiki and Meow Meow. We learned about colors, treats, and how to have fun together. See you next time!

Discussion Questions

  1. Imagine you are one of the colorful candies jumping into the water. What color would you be, and what do you think would happen when you jump in? Can you think of a time when you saw something change color like magic?
  2. If you could create your own special cupcake flavor, what would it be and why? Have you ever tried making or decorating cupcakes at home? What was your favorite part?
  3. Think about the dancing donuts. If you could join them in their chocolatey dance party, what kind of dance moves would you do? Have you ever danced with your friends or family? What music do you like to dance to?

Lesson Activities

  1. Color Mixing Experiment: Let’s explore how colors mix just like the colorful candies in the story! Gather some clear cups, water, and food coloring. Add a few drops of different colors to separate cups of water. Then, mix two colors together in a new cup and see what color they create. Ask the children, “What happens when we mix red and yellow? How about blue and yellow?” Encourage them to predict the results before mixing.

  2. Hamburger Safety March: Just like the marching hamburgers, let’s practice crossing the street safely. Set up a pretend crosswalk in the classroom or playground using tape. Have the children take turns being the “hamburgers” and practice looking both ways before crossing. Ask them, “Why is it important to use the crosswalk? What should we do before crossing the street?”

  3. Flavorful Cupcake Tasting: Let’s have a mini cupcake tasting party! Provide small cupcakes with different flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Let the children taste each one and describe the flavors. Ask them, “Which cupcake is your favorite and why? How does each flavor make you feel?” Encourage them to use descriptive words to express their thoughts.
