  • If you could be any of the safari animals for a day, which one would you choose and what would you do? How do you think it would feel to be that animal?
  • Have you ever seen any of these animals in real life, maybe at a zoo or on TV? What did you notice about them that was special or different?
  1. Animal Movement Game: Let’s pretend to be safari animals! Can you move like an elephant, a zebra, or a giraffe? Try walking with big, slow steps like an elephant, running fast like a zebra, or stretching your neck like a giraffe. Ask your friends or family to join you and guess which animal you are pretending to be!

  2. Safari Animal Art: Create your own safari animal using craft materials. You can use paper, crayons, and glue to make an elephant, zebra, or any other animal you learned about. Think about the colors and shapes you need. Once you’re done, share your artwork with your class or family and tell them a fun fact about your animal!

  3. Animal Sound Exploration: What sounds do safari animals make? Listen to recordings of animal sounds and try to mimic them. Can you roar like a lion or trumpet like an elephant? Discuss with your friends or family why these animals make these sounds and how they use them in the wild.
