Welcome to the World of Stars!

Hello, friend! I’m Hoagie, and today we’re going on a magical journey to learn about the stars and a special friend named Libra. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Meet Justice Libra

Far, far away in the sky, there’s a special scale called Libra. This scale is very important because it helps us find the truth. Whenever someone needs to know what’s true, they can ask Libra for help!

The Case of the Missing Letters

One day, our friend Corn had a problem. All the letters from the mailbox were missing, and Corn said he didn’t eat them. “I did not eat them,” Corn said. But how could we know for sure? That’s when Libra came to help!

Capricorn, another friend, went to Libra and asked, “Tell us the truth, one, two, three.” And guess what? Capricorn was telling the truth! Everyone said sorry to Capricorn, and thanks to Libra, we found out what really happened.

The Twins’ Big Adventure

Next, we have Gemini, the twins. They were having a big argument. One twin said, “I saw a monster with one eye and a big horn!” The other twin said, “I saw a monster too, but it had huge wings!” They both thought their monster was scarier.

They started to fight, but Libra was there to help. The twins went to Libra, one on each side. Oh no! Libra was broken because both twins were not telling the truth. They realized their mistake and decided to fix Libra together.

Libra Saves the Day

With the twins’ help, Libra was as good as new! Now, whenever you need to know the truth, you can look up to the stars and think of Libra and the goddess who guards it.

Remember, if you want to learn more fun things, you can search for Ping Pong on YouTube. Have fun exploring the stars!

  • Have you ever had a time when you needed to find out the truth about something? How did you figure it out, and who helped you?
  • Imagine you could ask Libra a question about anything in the world. What would you ask, and why?
  • If you were one of the twins, how would you describe the monster you saw? Can you think of a way to work together with someone who sees things differently?
  1. Starry Night Observation: With the help of an adult, go outside at night and look up at the stars. Try to find the constellation Libra in the sky. Can you see any other constellations? Draw a picture of what you see and share it with your friends. Talk about how the stars make you feel and what you imagine when you look at them.

  2. Truth and Balance Game: Gather a few friends and play a game where you tell short stories. Each person takes turns telling a story, and the others have to guess if it’s true or made up. Use a simple balance scale (you can make one with a hanger and some string) to show when the story is true or not. Discuss why telling the truth is important and how it makes us feel when we do.

  3. Create Your Own Constellation: Using some black paper and white chalk or stickers, create your own constellation. Give it a name and a story. What does your constellation represent? Share your constellation with the class and explain why it’s special to you. This activity helps you understand how people long ago used their imagination to create stories about the stars.

Who is Justice Libra?

Somewhere far away in the universe, there was a scale of justice and the goddess guarding it. This scale is called Libra. It tilts to the side of truth. Whenever you seek the truth, come to us.

Corn made all of our letters from the post box and he says he didn’t eat them.
“I did not eat them.”
No need to fight; Libra will show you what is true.

Capricorn went up to Libra.
“Tell us the truth, one, two, three.”
Oh my, Capricorn is telling the truth!
“See, I told you so.”
I’m sorry, Capricorn; we’re really sorry.
Thanks to Libra, the truth came out.

What’s that?
It seems Gemini, the twins, are having a fight.
“I saw a monster yesterday with only one eye and a huge horn; it was so scary!”
“I saw another one too, and it was super tall with enormous wings!”
“I bet the one I saw was way more scary!”
“No way, you’re lying!”
“I am not; you are the liar here!”
No need to fight; Libra will show you what is true.

The twins went up to Libra, one on each side.
Oh no, look at this! Libra is broken!
“Gemini, this is all because you two are both lying.”
Oh, sorry!
“We really are star sign friends; how about fixing Libra together?”
