Hello, friends! Welcome to our underwater adventure. I’m Moby the Monkey, and I love exploring the ocean. Would you like to join me and meet some amazing sea animals?
First up, we have the sea turtle! It swims gracefully through the water with its flippers. Isn’t it cool?
Next, we see the dolphin. Dolphins are very smart and love to play in the ocean waves.
Look over there! Is that a ball? No, it’s a pufferfish! When it feels scared, it puffs up into a big, round ball.
Here comes the whale, the biggest animal in the ocean. It makes a big splash and sometimes sprays water like a rainbow!
Uh-oh, here comes the shark! It has sharp teeth and swims fast to find its food.
Is it a bird? Is it a fish? It’s a flying fish! It can jump out of the water and glide through the air.
Look at the manta ray! It has a big, flowy body that looks like a cape as it swims.
Meet Mr. Tentacool, the octopus! It has eight arms and can live both in the water and on land.
Here comes the crab! It walks sideways on the sand with its funny little legs.
Look at the seahorse! It swims upright and has a long snout. It can even squirt ink to hide from danger.
There goes the squid with its ten arms, zooming through the water!
Here is the starfish, the star of the sea! It has five arms and loves to stick to rocks.
See the jellyfish? It jiggles and glows in the dark ocean. Isn’t it magical?
And here comes the shrimp, a tiny but excellent swimmer!
Last but not least, meet the walrus with its big tusks. It loves to hang out in shallow waters.
Wow, we met so many amazing sea animals today! You can learn more about them without going scuba diving. Visit www.tutoringhour.com for fun worksheets and more learning. Thanks for joining our underwater adventure!
Sea Animal Charades: Gather your friends or family and play a game of sea animal charades. Each person takes turns acting like one of the sea animals mentioned in the article, such as a dolphin jumping in the waves or a crab scuttling sideways. The others have to guess which sea animal is being acted out. This will help you remember the different sea animals and how they move!
Create Your Own Ocean Scene: Use colored paper, crayons, or markers to draw your favorite sea animals from the article. You can create a big ocean scene on a poster board or a piece of paper. Add details like seaweed, coral, and bubbles to make it look like an underwater world. Display your artwork at home and share what you learned about each animal with your family.
Sea Animal Observation Walk: Next time you visit a beach, aquarium, or even a park, try to spot animals that remind you of the sea creatures you learned about. Can you find something that looks like a starfish or a crab? Take notes or draw pictures of what you see. Discuss with your friends or family how these animals are similar to or different from the sea animals in the article.

Hello and welcome to Tutoring Hour! I am Moby the Monkey, and I love scuba diving. Would you like to explore the underwater world with me?
Here comes our first sea animal, the sea turtle, paddling through the water. Next, we have one of the most intelligent creatures in the world, the dolphin.
Is that a ball? No, that’s a pufferfish, also known as the blowfish. It inflates into a ball to evade predators.
Here comes the largest animal, the whale, humming a not-so-melodious song as it rises to the surface to breathe and sprays a rainbow from its blowhole.
Now, here comes Mr. Grumpy Gills with a lashing tail and snapping teeth—the shark is looking for its prey.
Is it a fin thing or a wing thing? It’s both! Here comes the flying fish.
Hooray! Here comes the manta ray with its long, flowy cloak.
That’s Mr. Tentacool, the well-armed, blue-blooded octopus with his eight cool tentacles. The octopus walks sideways and calls both land and water its home.
Here comes the crab!
With a tubular snout and a toothless mouth, that’s a seahorse swimming upright. The seahorse squirts ink to save itself.
Here goes the ten-armed squid.
Here comes the star of the sea, the starfish!
Jiggling high and jiggling low, that’s the jellyfish glowing in the dark.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have an excellent swimmer visiting us—the shrimp!
And here comes the wiggly walrus with its ivory tusk. In the shallow waters, it spends its day from dawn to dusk.
All the sea creatures on my bucket list have been checked off! You don’t have to go scuba diving to meet these sea creatures.
