And that’s not all! Old MacDonald also had a bulldozer. It goes scrape, scrape, scrape! Can you pretend to scrape with your hands? You’re doing amazing!

Time to Say Good Night

Now, it’s time for all the animals to go to sleep. The cowboy and cowgirl say, “Good night, Wyatt. Good night, Ruby.” Everyone gets cozy and quiet.

But wait! Clem the dog thinks the moon is on fire! Silly Clem, the moon is just shining bright. The cowboy says, “It’s okay, Clem. Go back to sleep.”

Let’s Get Cozy

All the animals get cozy and listen to the cowboy lullaby. The cowboy and cowgirl sing a sweet song to help everyone fall asleep. Can you curl up like a little critter and listen to the lullaby?

Sweet Dreams

It’s time for sweet dreams, little critters. Close your eyes and imagine the cowboy and cowgirl singing you to sleep. Sweet dreams!

The Texas Tanner’s moon’s on fire,
Because it’s time for all the animals to go to sleep.
The cowboy and the cowgirls say,
Good night, Wyatt.
Good night, Ruby.
Good night, sleep tight to a cowboy.
[Music]
Good night, sleep tight, be real quiet.
The cowboy and the cowgirl down the path,
Strolling past a rabbit, heading for his home.
Wyatt the stallion closes his eyes,
Ruby the mare lets out a sound,
Until Clem the dog stops napping and starts yapping.
[Music]
Scattering down the path to the big old house,
Barking all the way.
The cowboy asks, “Why such a ruckus?”
Hey, hey, hey.
[Music]
Come to tell you folks that there’s a fire,
Need to clear out.
Could be a timer, boom’s on fire,
Could be a fire.
The cowboy says, “Silly dog, moon’s not on fire, nothing’s dire now.
Get along and go back to sleep.”
Off Clem goes with his tail hanging low,
Walking up the path oh so slow,
Until Clem sees his shadow under the fiery moon.
Clem wakes the chickens with his barking.
[Music]
Chickens wake the pigs with their clucking,
Pigs wake their horses with their snorting,
Horses wake the longhorns with their neighing.
Let’s get out of here!
[Applause]
Races!
Could be, listen up, moon’s not on fire.
Trust me, I’m no liar, says the cowboy.
The cowgirl says, “It’s a harvest moon tonight,
And there’s enough light for y’all to stay up all night.”
Yippee!
So come on now, no more yelling and no more stomping.
Chores need doing and no more stalling.
Slow down, cows need milking, fences need mending,
Pain needs healing, corn needs picking.
We can work all night by the light of the fiery moon.
[Music]
Good night, sleep tight to a cowboy lullaby.
[Music]
Cozy up, little critters, cozy up, settle down,
And we’ll sing you this song.
[Music]
Curl up, listen close, hear the coyotes sing along.
Cozy up, little critters, lay still.
It’s the cowboy lullaby and the cowgirl’s sweet kiss
That’ll put you to sleep on a long night like this.
To the cowboys, sweet dreams, little critters.
Sweet dreams, getting late, time to tuck you in.
Close your eyes, come along to this lullaby song.
Sweet dreams, little critters, sweet dreams.
It’s the cowboy lullaby and a cowgirl’s sweet kiss
That’ll put you to sleep on a long night like this.
[Music]
If you don’t have books, then what are you waiting for?
Look, this kid’s safe, he has storybooks that are brought to life,
And it’s fun! I like to read books about fantasy and love.
I tell other kids to get books because they’re full of stories and laughter.
I’ll read it on the go, in a car and a plane, even on a train.
I’ve never been on a train, don’t worry.
Ask your grandma to download books now, you’ll be glad you did.
