The little one thinks the baby must be nearly here. “Will it be today?” they ask. Mom shakes her head and says, “Soon.”
The little one pats Mom’s tummy, and the baby bumps their hand. “Will the baby ever come, Mom?” they ask. Mom smiles and says, “I think so.”
Mom is getting tired, and they wait a bit longer. They wait, wait, wait… and then… Yay! The baby is here!
They have a brand new baby! Isn’t that wonderful?
