Swimming

Next, we have a swimming sticker. We swim in a pool, moving our bodies through the water. Splash, splash!

Basketball

Here’s a basketball sticker. In basketball, teams try to score points by throwing the ball into the hoop. Bounce, bounce, shoot!

Soccer

This is a soccer sticker. In soccer, teams kick or head the ball to score goals. Goal!

Look, a cycling sticker! Cyclists ride bicycles, and the first one to cross the finish line wins. Pedal fast!

Athletics

We also have an athletics sticker. Athletics includes running, jumping, and throwing. Run like the wind!

We learned so many sports words today! Let’s remember them:

  • Tennis
  • Swimming
  • Basketball
  • Soccer
  • Cycling
  • Athletics
  • Rowing
  • Rugby
  • Skiing
  • Scuba Diving

Wasn’t that amazing? I still have more stickers to add to my album. Don’t miss the next video to learn even more sports words. See you soon!

  1. Which of the sports we talked about today would you like to try, and why? Have you ever played any of them before?
  2. Can you think of a time when you played a sport or a game with your friends or family? What was it, and what did you enjoy most about it?
  3. Imagine you could create a new sport using stickers. What would it be like, and what kind of stickers would you use?
  1. Sports Charades: Gather your friends or family and play a game of charades using the sports from the sticker album. Take turns acting out each sport without using words, and see who can guess the sport first. This will help you remember the actions and equipment used in each sport!

  2. Sports Scavenger Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around your home or neighborhood to find items related to the sports you’ve learned. For example, look for a tennis ball, a bicycle, or a basketball hoop. Take pictures or draw what you find, and share your discoveries with your classmates.

  3. My Favorite Sport Drawing: Choose your favorite sport from the sticker album and draw a picture of yourself playing it. Think about what equipment you would need and what the setting would look like. Share your drawing with your class and explain why you like this sport the most.
