Monster Police Car Adventure

Once upon a time, there was a brave Monster Police Car. He was on a mission to find out who was causing trouble in the town. “I think it’s the Trouble Maker!” he said. “Let’s turn on my radar and catch him!”

Looking for Clues

The Monster Police Car was very smart. He looked around and found ice cream cones on the ground. “Let’s follow them,” he said. “Maybe they will lead us to the Trouble Maker!”

Then, he saw tire tracks. “Let’s follow these tracks too,” he thought. “They might help us find the Trouble Maker!”

Finding the Real Trouble Maker

After following the clues, the Monster Police Car found a Monster Truck. “Oh, it was you!” he said. The Monster Truck apologized, “Sorry, it was my fault!”

Monster Fire Truck to the Rescue

Next, we meet the Monster Fire Truck. He was big and brave, always ready to help. He saw black smoke and thought there was a fire. “Hurry, hurry! I’m on my way!” he shouted.

But it was just a barbecue. “Oops, I’m sorry!” he said. “I thought it was a fire!”

Learning About Earthquake Safety

Suddenly, there was a big earthquake! Everything was shaking. “Stay calm!” said the Monster Fire Truck. “Hide somewhere safe and hold on tight!”

He reminded everyone to stay away from windows and shelves. “Wait until the shaking stops,” he said. “And don’t use the elevator!”

Train Rescue Team to the Rescue

In the forest, Kiki got hurt. “What do we do?” asked his friend. “Let’s call the train rescue team!”

The train rescue team came quickly. “Get on!” they said. “We’ll take you to the hospital!”

Helping Each Other

The train rescue team was fast and brave. They helped Kiki and took him to the hospital safely. “Thank you very much!” said Kiki. “You’re welcome!” replied the train rescue team.

Medical Rescue Team

When someone got hurt, the medical rescue team was there to help. “Let me check your heartbeat,” said the little doctor. “Don’t worry, everything will be alright!”

They wrapped bandages and made sure everyone was safe. “Thank you so much!” said the people they helped. “We’re just doing our job,” said the medical rescue team.

Fun with Little Pirates

Little pirates went searching for treasures. They found an egg and wondered what was inside. “I think there’s rainbow candy!” said one. “I think there are donuts!” said another.

They opened it together and had lots of fun!

Fixing Cars with Mechanics

Some cars needed help. “My headlight is broken!” said one car. “My tire is flat!” said another.

The mechanics were there to help. “Don’t worry, we can fix anything!” they said. And soon, all the cars were as good as new!

Everyone learned to be more careful and to help each other. It was a day full of adventures and teamwork!

Discussion Questions

  1. Can you think of a time when you helped someone or someone helped you? How did it make you feel, and what did you learn from that experience?
  2. If you were a part of the Monster Police Car’s team, what clues would you look for to find the Trouble Maker? Why do you think those clues would be important?
  3. Imagine you are on a treasure hunt like the little pirates. What kind of treasure would you like to find, and who would you share it with? Why?

Lesson Activities

  1. Clue Hunt Adventure: Create a simple scavenger hunt in your classroom or home. Hide small objects or pictures that represent clues, like ice cream cones or tire tracks, just like in the story. Ask the children to find these clues and guess what they might lead to. Encourage them to think about how clues can help solve mysteries, just like the Monster Police Car did.

  2. Earthquake Safety Drill: Practice an earthquake safety drill with the children. Teach them to “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” under a sturdy table or against an interior wall, away from windows and shelves. Discuss why it’s important to stay calm and safe during an earthquake, just like the Monster Fire Truck taught in the story.

  3. Role Play Rescue Teams: Divide the children into small groups and assign each group a role from the story, such as the Monster Police Car, Monster Fire Truck, Train Rescue Team, or Medical Rescue Team. Provide simple props or costumes and let them act out a rescue mission. Encourage them to think about how teamwork and helping others are important in emergencies.
