Now you know the alphabet! You can see the letters, say them out loud, and even sign them with your hands. Keep practicing and have fun with your ABCs!

  • Can you think of a word that starts with the same letter as your name? What other words can you think of that start with that letter?
  • What is your favorite letter from the alphabet, and why do you like it? Is there a special word or object that makes it your favorite?
  • Have you ever seen something in nature or at home that starts with the letters we learned today? Can you describe it to us?
  1. Alphabet Scavenger Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt around your home or classroom to find objects that start with each letter of the alphabet. For example, look for an apple for “A,” a book for “B,” and a cup for “C.” Can you find something for every letter? Share your findings with your friends or family!

  2. Letter Art: Choose your favorite letter and create an art piece using materials you have at home. You can use crayons, markers, or even paint. Decorate your letter with drawings of things that start with that letter. For example, if you choose “D,” you might draw a dog, a diamond, and a drum. Display your artwork for everyone to see!

  3. Alphabet Storytime: Create a short story using as many alphabet letters as you can. Start with a sentence like “A is for apple, and B is for ball.” Continue adding sentences with different letters. Can you make a story that includes all the letters from A to Z? Share your story with your classmates or family and see if they can add more sentences!
