Welcome, everyone, to the most exciting show in Blunderburg! It’s called Light Night, and it’s full of bright lights and fun music. Tonight, we have a special group called The Fix-It Force performing. There’s Tiny on music, Clark on lights, Rainbow Thunder doing amazing kitty tricks, and Chico Bon Bon showing off a brand-new dance. Everyone is cheering and having a great time!
As the wind blows, everyone is getting ready for the big show. Chico asks for two microphones, but instead, he gets two animals named Mike! It’s a funny mix-up, but they finally get the microphones they need. The Dunderheads, who are helping with the show, also bring lots of fans. Chico laughs and says fans are great, even if he meant fans in the audience!
Clark and Tiny explain how the lights and music work. They need something called electricity to make everything light up and play music. Tiny shows everyone a big battery that gives them all the energy they need for the show. It’s like a giant power pack!
It’s almost time for the show to start! Chico shows off his new dance called “The Windmill,” and everyone loves it. The Fix-It Force is ready to light up the town and make everyone dance and cheer!
Just as the show is about to start, all the lights go out! The power is gone, and Blunderburg Tower is dark. But don’t worry! Clark keeps the crowd happy with his magic tricks while the team figures out what went wrong.
The big battery that was powering the show is broken. They need a new way to get electricity fast! Rainbow Thunder suggests using a generator, a special machine that makes electricity. Chico remembers that Rainbow’s brother, Gary, has one. The Fix-It Force decides to go get it and bring back the power to the tower!
Electricity is what makes lights shine and music play. It’s like magic energy that powers many things we use every day, like lights, TVs, and even toys! Batteries store electricity, and generators can make more when we need it. Isn’t that cool?
The Fix-It Force is on a mission to save the show. With teamwork and a little bit of magic, they’re sure to bring back the lights and music to Blunderburg. Go, Chico Bon Bon and the Fix-It Force!
Electricity Hunt: At home or in the classroom, look around and find things that use electricity. Make a list or draw pictures of these items. Can you find at least five things? Talk with a friend or family member about how these items work and why electricity is important for them.
Build a Simple Circuit: With the help of an adult, try making a simple circuit using a small battery, a light bulb, and some wires. See if you can make the light bulb light up! This activity will help you understand how electricity flows and powers things like lights in your home.
Imagine a Day Without Electricity: Think about what it would be like if there was no electricity for a whole day. What activities would you do? How would you keep yourself entertained? Draw a picture or write a short story about your day without electricity and share it with your classmates.

[Neil] Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Light Night, Blunderburg’s favorite light and music show. Tonight’s performers: The Fix-It Force! [all cheering and whooping] We’ve got Tiny on music, Clark on lights, Rainbow Thunder doing cool kitty tricks, and Chico Bon Bon with a brand-new dance. [all cheering] I hope you’re enjoying all this wind because tonight’s show is sure to blow you away! Ah! My hair! Oh-ho! My beautiful hair! Looking great, everybody. Just about time to light it up. Hey, Jerry, can I get two mics? Got ’em right here. Uh… Hi, there. Who are you guys? You asked for two Mikes. That’s Mike the Squirrel and that’s Mike the Pig. Two Mikes. Umm… Here are the two microphones, Chico. And because you said you wanted to see a bunch of fans tonight… Boom! Did the Dunderheads deliver or did the Dunderheads deliver? I was sort of talking about fans of the show, you know, like the audience? [crowd cheering] So, you’re saying we didn’t deliver? Oh, no! No-no-no-no-no. These fans are great! You never know when you could use a good fan. Yeah! The Dunderheads delivered! [Chico laughs] Clark, how we looking? Almost there! Tiny, play me a little something. Awesome! -How does everything light up like that? -Electricity. Electrical energy, to be exact. Those lights and Tiny’s keytar, they need electrical energy to work. Tiny, show ’em where all this energy’s coming from. One very large battery. This baby’s got all the electrical energy we’ll need for tonight’s show. And it’s courtesy of the Dunderheads. Like we say, what could possibly go wrong? Yay, energy! Hey, that’s what I was gonna say. Oh! Showtime in one minute! Chico, quick, what’s your new dance? Oh! I call it… The Windmill! Check it! [electronic music playing] -Yeah! -Best monkey moves ever! Oh-ho, yeah! All right, team. Let’s light this town up! [crowd cheering] Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to rock with The Fix-It Force? [all cheering and whooping] [electricity powers down] Make some noise! [all cheering and whooping] [cheers fade] I can’t hear you! What? We can’t hear you! I said, I can’t hear you! We can’t hear you! Huh? Oh, no! [Rainbow] We’ve lost power in Blunderburg Tower! Sit tight, everyone. Keep those ready-to-rock vibes… ready! Clark, can you keep the crowd entertained? Sure! I can do some of my amazing magic tricks! Go get ’em! We gotta find out what’s wrong with the power! Busted battery is what’s wrong. It just went poof! Hmm… Any chance you have an extra? Of course, I do! I got it right here. There’s not nearly enough energy in that tiny battery to power our light show. Ugh! We need another energy source, fast! -You mean, like a generator? -A what? A generator. [Rainbow] It’s a machine that makes electrical energy. How’d you know that? My brother Gary has one. Then we better go get it. Fix-It Force, time to bring back power to the tower. [kids] Chico Bon Bon!
