Hey there! Today, we’re going to have some fun learning about the letter N. Let’s start by thinking about a yummy food that begins with N. Can you guess what it is? It’s noodles!

Listen to the Sound

When we say the word “noodles,” we can hear the special sound that the letter N makes. It sounds like /n/. Try saying it with me: /n/, /n/, noodles! Did you hear the /n/ sound at the beginning?

Practice Makes Perfect

Now that you know the sound, you can practice finding other words that start with the letter N. Maybe you can think of “nest” or “night.” Listen for the /n/ sound at the start of each word.
