Hi there! Today, we’re going to learn about the letter I. It’s a special letter in the alphabet that you see all the time.

The Lowercase I

Let’s start with the lowercase I. It looks like a little stick with a dot on top. Isn’t it cute?

The Sound of I

The letter I makes a sound like /i/. Can you say it? It’s the same sound you hear at the beginning of the word “igloo.”
