A tug-of-war ensues between Omar and the queen, with Omar ultimately managing to snatch his jersey back and escape the Trashlands.
Returning home, Omar shows his mother the jersey. She reminds him of a powerful magic that can defeat goblin grime—a washing machine. With a roll of quarters in hand, Omar sets off to clean his jersey and tidy up his room. As he cleans, the portal to the Trashlands closes, and the goblins are gone, at least for now.
Omar’s adventure teaches us that keeping our surroundings clean can prevent unexpected troubles. It also highlights the courage it takes to face challenges head-on. By taking responsibility for his mess, Omar not only retrieves his jersey but also learns the value of cleanliness and order.
