I’m a Little Teapot

Now, let’s pretend to be a teapot! Do you know what a teapot is? It’s a special pot used to make tea. It has a handle and a spout. Let’s sing a song about being a teapot!

I’m a little teapot, short and stout.

This is my handle, this is my spout.

Can you pretend to be a teapot? Put one hand on your hip like a handle and the other hand out like a spout. When you get all steamy, you can tip over and pour out the tea!

Fun Activity

Let’s make a star and a teapot with our hands! For the star, wiggle your fingers like they’re twinkling. For the teapot, remember to use one hand as the handle and the other as the spout. You can even make a little whistle sound like steam coming out!
