Now, make a big splash like a whale by jumping up and down. Try swimming fast like a shark by running in place. How about moving slowly like a turtle? Glide smoothly like a stingray. Which sea creature was your favorite to pretend to be?

  2. Job Role Play: Let’s play pretend jobs! Gather some props like a toy stethoscope for a doctor, a toothbrush for a dentist, or a toy hammer for a carpenter. Can you pretend to be a teacher and teach your friends the ABCs? How about being a doctor and checking your friend’s heartbeat? What other jobs can you think of, and how would you pretend to do them?

  3. Animal Sound Game: Let’s make animal sounds! Think of your favorite animal and make its sound. Can you moo like a cow or meow like a cat? How about quacking like a duck or barking like a dog? Take turns with your friends or family and guess each other’s animal sounds. What other animals can you think of, and what sounds do they make?
