Hey there! Let’s go on a fun trip to the jungle together. Are you ready to see some amazing animals and have a great time? Let’s start our adventure!
As we walk through the jungle, guess what we see? A tiny frog blinking at us! We say, “Hello!” and the frog says, “Ribit!” We have a little chat, but then the frog sees a cricket and hops away quickly!
Walking in the jungle,
Walking in the jungle,
Walking in the jungle,
So many critters to meet!
Now, let’s skip through the jungle. Look over there! It’s a family of chimpanzees! We say, “Hi!” and they say, “Hoo-hoo!” We give them some berries, and they say, “Thank you!” The chimpanzees start grooming each other. How cute!
Skipping in the jungle,
Skipping in the jungle,
Skipping in the jungle,
So many critters to meet!
As we circle around a pond, we see elephants taking a bath! The mama elephant sprays water on her baby, and they splash around happily. We take some pictures. Isn’t it fun to watch elephants play?
Splashing in the jungle,
Splashing in the jungle,
Splashing in the jungle,
So many critters to meet!
We creep by the river and spot a hungry alligator! Oh no! It sees us, but we turn invisible just in time. The alligator swims away, looking for something else to eat. Phew, that was close!
Creeping in the jungle,
Creeping in the jungle,
Creeping in the jungle,
So many critters to meet!
Be very quiet and look around. We see lions, snakes, and hippopotamuses! There are also giraffes, baboons, aardvarks, and gorillas. Wow, so many animals live in the jungle!
Dancing in the jungle,
Dancing in the jungle,
Dancing in the jungle,
So many critters to meet!
Dancing in the jungle,
Dancing in the jungle,
Dancing in the jungle,
So many critters to meet!
Dancing in the jungle,
Dancing in the jungle,
Dancing in the jungle,
So many critters to meet!
Phew! That was an exciting jungle adventure! Thanks for coming along. We saw so many amazing animals and had lots of fun. Until next time, keep exploring and learning!
Animal Sounds and Movements: Let’s pretend to be the animals we met in the jungle! Can you hop like a frog and say “Ribit”? Or swing your arms like a chimpanzee and say “Hoo-hoo”? Try making the sound and movement of each animal we saw. Ask your friends or family to guess which animal you are pretending to be!
Jungle Art Project: Create your own jungle scene! Use paper, crayons, and any craft materials you have to draw or make the animals we saw. You can add trees, rivers, and ponds too. Once you’re done, share your jungle art with your class and talk about the animals you included.
Jungle Observation Walk: Next time you go for a walk in your neighborhood or a park, pretend you are in the jungle. Look around and see if you can spot any animals or insects. How are they similar or different from the jungle animals we learned about? Share your observations with your family or friends.
