Today, we’re going to have fun learning how to make the number five using something you always have with you—your hand! Each of your hands has five fingers, and they can help us find different ways to make the number five.

  • Put 1 finger up and 4 fingers down. That’s 5 fingers in all!

  • Put 3 fingers up and 2 fingers down. That’s 5 fingers in all!
  • Put 4 fingers up and 1 finger down. That’s 5 fingers in all!
