Thank You for Playing!

We saw so many fun animals in the windows today. Thank you for looking with me! Now we know what’s in the window. See you next time!

  • What is your favorite animal that we found in the windows, and why do you like it the most?
  • Can you think of any other animals that might be fun to find in a window? What sounds do they make?
  • Have you ever seen any of these animals in real life? Where were you, and what were they doing?
  1. Window Color Hunt: Go on a color hunt around your home or classroom. Find objects that match the colors of the windows from the game: red, blue, yellow, green, purple, and orange. Once you find an object, think about what animal from the game might like it. For example, a red ball might be fun for the dog!

  2. Animal Sound Match: Make a list of the animals we found in the windows: dog, cat, bird, rabbit, fish, and turtle. Try to make the sounds each animal makes. Can you match the sound to the right animal? Ask a friend or family member to guess which animal you are pretending to be!

  3. Draw Your Own Window: Draw a picture of your own special window. What color is your window? What animal would you like to find inside? Share your drawing with a friend and tell them a story about your animal. What does it like to do?
