Hello, friends! How are you today? Is the sun shining where you are? It’s a warm and sunny day here, and we’re all feeling happy! I hope you’re having a great day too. Are you ready to enjoy a story with us?
We have a fun book to read called “Where Did My Teddy Go?” by Familla Simmons. Let’s find out what happens!
The stars are shining bright, and the moon is hanging low in the sky. A little child asks, “Mama, where did my teddy go?”
Mama replies, “My child, my love, I do not know.”
The child wonders, “Is Teddy over on the chair?” But Teddy is not there.
“Mama, where did my teddy go?” the child asks again.
“My sweet child, I do not know,” Mama says.
The child thinks, “Is Teddy climbing up to bed?” But Teddy is not there either.
“Is Teddy with Sir Rubber Duck?” the child wonders. But there’s no one there.
“Mama, where did my teddy go?” the child asks once more.
“My dear heart, I do not know,” Mama answers.
The child thinks, “Is Teddy brushing by the sink?” But Teddy is not there.
“Teddy may be getting dressed,” the child guesses. But Teddy is not there either.
“Could it be that Teddy’s near?” the child wonders.
Suddenly, the child exclaims, “I found him, Mama! Teddy’s here!”
With Teddy found, the bed feels just right. It’s time to say good night.
“Good night, Mama.”
“Good night, my child.”
“Good night, Teddy.”
Did you find your teddy too? Is it with you? Are you ready for bed now?

Teddy Bear Hunt: Let’s go on a teddy bear hunt! Hide a teddy bear somewhere in the room or outside in a safe area. Ask the children to find it by giving them clues like “Is Teddy near the chair?” or “Is Teddy under the table?” This activity helps children practice listening skills and following directions while having fun searching for Teddy.
Create Your Own Story: Encourage the children to create their own story about a lost toy. Ask them questions like “What toy did you lose?” and “Where did you look for it?” Provide paper and crayons for them to draw their story. This activity encourages creativity and helps them understand story structure.
Bedtime Routine Discussion: Talk with the children about their bedtime routines. Ask questions like “What do you do before going to bed?” and “Do you have a favorite toy you sleep with?” This discussion helps children connect the story to their own lives and understand the importance of routines.
