One sunny day, Zach the Zerby was zooming around when his friend Rex called out, “Hey Zach, stop! I have something to show you!” Zach was curious and followed Rex to see what he had built.
Rex had made a cool ditch with a tunnel and a moat around it. Zach was excited and wanted to try driving through it. “Wow, this is great!” Zach exclaimed as he zoomed through the ditch.
Just then, Spike the Zerby came along and didn’t see the ditch. “Oh no, Spike fell in!” But with a little help, Spike got back on his wheels and drove out. Everyone realized they needed a way to cross the ditch safely.
The Zerbies decided to build a bridge. Rex tried filling the ditch with dirt, but it didn’t work well. Then they tried using sticks, but they were too small and broke. “We need bigger sticks!” Rex said. They found stronger sticks and made a sturdy bridge.
After building the bridge, the Zerbies found a big meadow. “Let’s build a racetrack!” Zach suggested. They tried making a straight track, but it was too short. Then they made a track with lots of turns and loops, but it was too confusing.
Finally, they made a simple circular track. “This is perfect!” everyone cheered as they raced around the track, having lots of fun.
Later, Zach found out the road to his garage was under construction. “Let’s camp out for the night!” Lily suggested. They found a nice spot to camp, but it looked like rain was coming.
“We need a shelter,” Zach said. They tried using leaves, but they couldn’t see the stars. Then they tried sticks, but it wasn’t strong enough. “Let’s try, try again!” Zach encouraged.
Finally, they found a perfect spot under a big tree. It kept them dry and they could see the stars. “This is the best camping spot ever!” Zach said happily.
The Zerbies learned that sometimes things don’t work out the first time, but if you keep trying and look for answers, you can find a solution. And most importantly, they had lots of fun together!
