Hi there, friend! Let’s go on a fun adventure with our Zerbie friends. Zerbies are little cars that love to explore and help each other. Are you ready? Let’s go!
One sunny day, Lily was driving and saw a rocky hill. She wondered if there was a trail up there. So, she called her friend Chase for help.
“Chase, can you help me?” asked Lily.
“Sure, Lily! I’ll check it out,” said Chase.
Chase flew up high and saw that there was a trail. “You can keep going, Lily!” he said.
Next, Chase helped Bob find his lost orange ball. “I found it in the weeds!” Chase said happily.
Then, Zach needed help finding his way out of a trail. Chase showed him the right way. “Thanks, Chase!” Zach said with a smile.
Zach wanted to help like Chase, so he tried to fly by jumping. But it was a bit tricky! “I can’t see like Chase,” Zach said.
But Zach didn’t give up. He tried to help Lily find a trail. “I see it, Lily!” Zach shouted with excitement.
Later, Axel wanted to join a race with the construction Zerbies. “I love racing!” Axel said.
The race was to carry big logs to the finish line. Axel tried hard, but the logs were heavy. “I can do it!” Axel said with determination.
Axel decided to pull one log at a time. He was super fast and made it to the finish line with all three logs!
In the end, it was a tie! All the Zerbies won the race. “Great job, Axel!” everyone cheered.
They decided to have another race with even more fun challenges. But Axel was tired and needed a nap. “Let’s let Axel rest,” the Zerbies said quietly.
Wasn’t that a fun adventure? Zerbies love to help each other and have fun. Remember, you can always try your best and help your friends too!
Trail Finder Activity: Go outside with a friend or family member and pretend to be Zerbies exploring new paths. Look for trails or paths in your backyard or a nearby park. Can you find a path that leads somewhere interesting? Talk about what you see along the way and how you can help each other find the best route, just like Lily and Chase did!
Lost and Found Game: Hide a small toy or object in a safe area, like a room or a section of your yard. Take turns being Chase and the other Zerbies. The “Chase” player gives hints to help the other Zerbies find the hidden object. Remember to cheer each other on when you find it, just like Chase helped Bob find his lost orange ball!
Build Your Own Race: Create a simple obstacle course using items like pillows, boxes, or cones. Pretend to be Axel and the construction Zerbies racing to carry “logs” (you can use small sticks or rolled-up socks) to the finish line. Try different ways to carry your “logs” and see which way is the fastest. Remember, it’s all about having fun and helping each other, just like the Zerbies!

Hey Ray! Hey Annie!
Oh hi guys, nice to see you!
Well, it’s a beautiful day to be in the sky, I can tell you.
Hey, construction derbies! That project is looking good. Thanks, Jason!
Hey Chase, see you later!
Does that trail go up there or is that just rocks? I wonder.
Well, there’s one way to find out.
Wait, if I drive up there and it isn’t the trail, then I might not know where to go. I’d better call Chase.
Lily to Chase, come in.
Chase, this is Chase. What do you need?
Lily, can you come and help? I need to know something about a trail I’m on.
I’ll meet you by the path.
Oh, I’m on my way!
Hi Chase! See that rocky hill behind me?
Yep, I see it.
If I climb up there, are there more trails I can follow? Can you check for me, please?
You’ve got it! I’ll let you know.
Thanks!
Okay, up, up, up we go!
Yep, there’s a trail up here, all right. You can keep going if you get up here, Lily.
Thanks, Chase!
About to Chase, come in.
Chase, can you come and help me?
I’m on my way, Bob. I’ll see you later, Lily. Bye, Chase!
Well hey, Bob! What’s the problem?
Well, I lost my orange ball. Could you help?
You bet! Let me have a look.
Okay, I don’t see it over here. No, it’s not over—uh oh, wait, wait! Yes, yes, I see it! It’s over here in the weeds.
Oh, thanks Chase! You’re the best!
Doctor Chase, come in.
Chase, um, anytime, Bob. I’m coming, Zach.
This is Chase, what do you need, Zach?
Um, I’m on a trail and I forget which way is out. Can you come and show me?
Okay, I’m coming! Just sit tight.
[Music]
Hi Zach!
Hi Chase! Which way do I go?
Oh, it’s this way. Come on!
Oh, over here!
You got it!
Oh, here! Yep!
Oh, I see!
There you go!
Oh, okay, thanks, Chase!
No problem, Zach!
You sound tired.
Well, I love flying around and keeping track of Zerbies when they need help, but I’ve been going full speed all day. I need a nap.
Gee, I wish I could help!
Wow, that’s a great idea! You should help!
That’s, uh, not worth so much, Zach.
About to Chase, come in.
Chase, um, you could take this next one. See ya!
Uh, oh, okay. Uh, see you, Chase!
Uh, this is Zach. Bob, I’m helping Chase today. I’ll be right there!
Zach, I didn’t know he could fly!
Okay, let’s see.
Um, oh hey Bob!
Hey Zach!
Hey, hi!
What do you need help with?
Well, I lost my orange ball again. Chase could usually see it from the sky.
Oh, I’ll look for it! But how are you gonna see from up high like Chase?
Oh, I can fly just like Chase! When I do a jump, I’ll get my life jacket!
Okay, I got my life jacket on. Are you watching, Bob?
Yep, I’m watching, Zach!
All right, ready, set, turbo!
[Music]
I don’t see it.
Did you see it?
Uh, no. Do you want to push back to shore?
Uh, yes please!
Okay, just… okay, push me from… yeah, can you just… I got… that’s good!
I can’t! All I can do is this tire paddle.
I know, I got you! Thank you!
There you go!
I guess I didn’t do a good job as Chase would have.
It’s okay, Zach! I’m sure I could still help somehow.
Mm-hmm.
Come in, Zach!
This is Zach, go ahead, Lily!
Are you really helping Chase today? If so, I need your help.
Uh, I’m on my way just as soon as I get dried off!
Hello!
I’m here!
Lily, I’m up here!
Zach, oh, what do you need?
I need to know where the trail is to get down.
Oh, okay, I can help! I’ll come up!
Here I come!
[Music]
I can’t seem to get up there, Lily!
I can’t! No, no, you have to go around! That’s how I got up!
Oh, okay!
I think I see it! There’s rocks and stuff!
Yeah, okay, I’m coming up!
Lily, do you see it?
I think I see it! Hang on!
Hang on, I’ll be right there!
I’m busy now!
Okay, I’m up there!
Uh, I made it, Lily! I’m here! I found you!
Good job, Zach!
Great! Now how do we get back down?
Easy! We just take the rocks down!
Which rocks?
Uh, well, oh, I can’t see the trail from here.
Oh, I’ll have to call Chase to help!
Zach to Chase!
Uh, Zach, Dr. Chase!
Oh, uh, this is Chase. Go ahead, Zach!
I need you to help me and Lily find our way off this hill!
Okay, I’m on my way!
Oh, I see him! Come on, let’s go!
Where do you see him?
Not yet, I don’t see him!
Where?
Right there! Can you see him in the sky?
Oh, there he is! Hi Chase!
Chase, I’m sorry to wake you, but I can’t do what you can do!
It’s okay! We can always try again!
What was it working for you, Zach?
Well, you can see from much higher up. It makes things easier to see that I can’t see.
Wait, that’s it! How high do you normally fly, Chase?
Oh, I’d say from about here.
Well, try going higher!
Okay!
Can you see even more from up there?
I can! I can see the whole forest! And look, there’s Zerby Town!
I don’t get it!
Well, you see, if Chase is really high up, he doesn’t need to go far to see everything!
It’s true! I can see Bob from way up here! Now I can watch everything! If anybody needs me, I’ll be in the sky!
[Music]
Yeah, I’m super fast! I can feel the wind!
Feel the wind! Feel the wind in my spoiler!
Yeah!
Okay, look out, grass!
Yep, look out, leaf!
Because here comes…
[Music]
Yeah, well, you know what? There’s no one else around this morning!
Well, that means that there’s no one to slow me down!
[Music]
Hey, I almost didn’t see you there, Zach! You’re moving fast this morning!
Actually, yeah! It’s a beautiful day and there’s leafy roads! You know how it is!
Oh yeah! So, where is everyone?
They’re all at the construction derby race! I’m headed there myself!
A race? Can I join in?
Axel, you’re a racing derby! This is a race for construction Zerbies!
Well, maybe they’ll let me race if I only use three wheels or something!
Well, I suppose we could! I still don’t think it’s that kind of a race, Axel!
Wow, so fast!
You see my back tires?
Yeah, yeah! Well, that’s what the construction derbies are gonna see! Because I’m gonna be so fast and in front of them!
[Music]
Okay, ready, Zerbies!
[Music]
Is this an open race? I mean, can anyone join in?
It’s for construction Zerbies, Axel, and you’re not a construction Zerby!
I know, but it’s a race and I love to race!
But we’re going to be moving things to the construction site! I’m not sure it’s your kind of race!
Oh, but I love racing! I say if Axel wants to race, then we should let him race!
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Yeah, can I? Can I?
Well, if you really want to, better load up!
Load what?
Load that!
Load the winner is the first to carry three logs to the finish line!
Three of those logs? But they’re huge!
I know, that’s the fun of it! See, that’s what we do in the construction derby race!
Are you sure you want to join?
Well, uh, a race is a race and I’m the best racer around! I’m in!
Are you sure, Axel? These are pretty heavy!
Sure, I am! Let’s go!
Here we go! Ready?
I think they’re too heavy for you, Axel!
Yeah, you think?
Oh wait, wait! I think I won! I won!
Axel, you can’t win without your logs!
Oh, right!
Okay, I’ll just have to try again!
That’s the spirit, Axel! You can do it!
Yeah, but how?
Uh, maybe you could… um…
Yeah, uh, push them in front of you!
Oh, okay! I’ll try it! I’ll try it!
Okay!
[Music]
Nothing’s happening!
[Music]
Are you okay?
Uh, yeah!
Did I win?
Uh, not exactly! You didn’t really move the logs at all!
But you still have a chance!
But I’m gonna try again!
Good for you! What else can you try?
I don’t know! Racers aren’t used to hauling things!
Uh, what would a truck do?
Well, if it was me, I would only take as big a load as I could manage! And I’d probably pull instead of push! It’s easier to see where you’re going!
So what if I tried pulling the logs and I pulled them one at a time?
That might work! But you have to do the race three times! You have to come back for each log!
Yeah, but I’m super fast and I’m gonna try!
Uh, can you help me attach the log so I can try it?
Sure thing! But we have to hurry!
Okay!
Okay, hold on!
Okay, I think you’re good!
Okay, go, go, Axel!
Here I go! Finish line here!
[Music]
I’m the greatest!
Yeah, but you have to bring the other logs!
Oh, yeah! I forgot!
All right, ready, set, turbo!
[Music]
Come on!
Okay, quick, quick, quick, Zach! Try the second!
[Music]
Here!
Okay, there’s still time! I can do it!
Okay, ready?
Yup! Set, turbo!
Oh, oh no! We’re almost there!
All right, Axel! You made it with all three logs! Way to go!
I told you I could do it!
So who won?
It was a three-way tie! That means you all won!
All right, great job, Axel!
Yeah, you can be part of a construction derby race any time!
Oh, that’s great!
In fact, since we all tied, we should have another race as a tiebreaker!
Hey, yeah! This time we should take five logs!
Yeah, or big rocks! Or rocks and logs together!
Wow, that sounds fun! What do you think, Axel?
Axel?
Uh, I think Axel’s tuckered out! Come on, everyone! Let’s give him a chance to sleep!
Yeah, okay! Nobody make any noise at all!
[Music]
How long do you want to stay here?
